  • This is a nice mix of videos of the 727!

  • Simon...next time, please dont play music over an airliner vid. It just ruins it.

  • Boeing beats Airbus!

  • looks like the 727 lacked from power on takeoff, i see in this mix loongggg time to takeoff at the very last part of the runway...

  • MAGNIFICENT SERIES OF TAKEOFFS--BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES IF MY FAVORITE BOEING...THANK YOU

  • watch my tribute video of Boeing 727 Recommended for fans of BOEING_727 LIKE ME

  • The best jet transport aircraft I ever flew, and I miss flying that bird!

  • Best. Plane. Ever.

  • 727 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • transmile still use 727s, always swa them here in Ninoy Aquino Int'l Airport III

  • What a great plane. Nice vid. I remember watching these takeoff when I was a kid. Back in the day you could park near 1L/1R at SFO and these puppies would shake your car. Awesome. I hadn't seen any in awhile, then I was at Memphis airport for awhile and I got to see the FedEx 727s takeoff. The FedEx planes put out a plume of dark exhaust. Brought back a lot of memories, back when flying was fun.

  • damn hush kits!!!

  • We used to love watching the Delta and Eastern 727's taking off from Daytona Beach when I was at Embry-Riddle back in 1981. Made for an interesting time in math class since the building was located next to the end of the runway. You couldn't hear the teacher for several minutes after the plane had passed. Used to hear these all the time over my house since I grew up under the approach/climb out path(s) of Philly International.

  • JT-8D X 3 = Raw Unadulterated Power! The 727, my FAVORITE "Bird"

  • The 727 may be the loudest aircraft out there. And the smoke is great!

  • hush kits r 4 pussies

  • A 727 can fly up to 40,000 feet and a speed of Mach .90 It is also one of the loudest jet planes ever built. A 727 without the "hush kits" can be heard from over 25 miles away

  • @dhaprinz2you like cargojet :P u can here them miles away and yet i live right by the airport

  • need the 727-300!!!!!

  • 727, yourve served us well, your not done yet, you still have FedEx backin ya, there gettin rid of ya soon though.

  • Yes, it's a damn shame. Gotta get rid of the 727 because a few pussies don't like the noise. No other airliner looks or sounds better than the 727.

  • Yes you are right this is only a plane!

  • @gop4usa12

They do sound wonderfull, but they also cost alot to maintain as well as not as fuel effecient, i guess airliners go with the most fuel effecient. Still a fun plane to fly on.

  • I think your right about the inefficiency and high cost of maintenance. That does make sense considering the Boeing boasts efficiency of the 757 and the new dreamliner. The one thing that sets the 727 apart from other airliners; it's got style. Newer planes are boring because they all look the same.

  • @gop4usa12 "The one thing that sets the 727 apart from other airliners; it's got style. Newer planes are boring because they all look the same" <----AMEN

  • @umahuma4 LONG LIVE THE BEAUTIFUL 727! MAY THE GODS REMEMBER YOU BY PLACES YOU IN THE STARS NEXT TO PEGASUS

  • Ah, even the music of the JT8D engines is nice. :D

  • Yes, it is so;) Thanks for the comments;)

  • A nice mix of music and takeoffs here. Neat video!

    Ken Palmer

  • Could a 727 fly with only its central engine
