  • i have something likewise , but not from benchmade , really good steel , anti rust doesn't specify witch but looks good, and it only cost me about 7$ and includes 10 bits really usefull , also it has a flipping open mechanism so u can close up the bits and bit driver safely it also has pocketclip , pretty usefull !!

  • I just got mine from the Nutfancy giveaway, its awesome.

  • I have the same one but mine is a copy

  • Benchmade gives these away to dealers for a promotional item. If you have a regular dealer and are placing an order see if they will throw one in for nada. Then you can check it out. I think you will find that free is about the right price.

Home Depot and Lowes carry the Husky (or house brand name) 8-in-1 torx set for about half or less the asking price of the Blue Box and they are FAR superior.

  • Lowes or Home Depot...I'll have to check that out.

  • the grips are plastic or metal?

  • grips for what? the case is plastic.

The grips or "scales" for the knives vary...G-10, FRN (fiberglasss reinforced nylon), Noryl GTX, etc...

  • heyy JT...this has nothing to do with the video but theres a show called "dog the bounty hunter" ( i dont know if youve heard of it)it takes place in colorado and hawii...i was wondering if youve heard of him or ever met him

    thank you 5*****

  • 10-4..he's very popular...watch his show from time to time,,,never met him.,.

I more a fan of guys like Richard Marcinko (former Commander of Seal Team Six and Red Cell), Steven Seagal, and Clint Eastwood...

  • does 10-4 mean roger?

  • Yup...or message received, message confirmed, etc...

  • Does it work on benchmade Balisongs?

  • First hand I haven't tried it...can't find my Benchmade Balisong but, this came straight from theire site...

"Benchmade uses six lobe, torx-like headed screws exclusively throughout the assembly of our knives. This engineered screw style offers a more "controllable" means of achieving tightness."

  • Oh...Okay then if u find your Balisong just tell me i guess because i am thinking of getting the BlueBox just for my Benchmade Model 40tr

    grtz

  • no not yet...not that I haven't had the oppurtunity. Just get side-tracked with other purchases...lol!

  • i have been needing one of these for a wile now, im gunna pick one up!

  • Nice knives, I like those Benchmade tools. Im trying trying to find a cool phrase for the end of my video's, any idea's??

  • cool

  • What does watch your six mean?

  • In many settings directions (as in directions from your current facing) are referred to as numbers on a clock. 12 o'clock is straight ahead, 3 o'clock is 90 degrees to your right, 6 o'clock is directly behind you and 9 o'clock is 90 degrees to your left. 6 o'clock, or "your six," being behind you is often your most vulnerable area in, say, a military setting. So "watch your six," literally means "look out behind you," and more colloquially just means "stay safe," or "be well."

  • "Now you know...and knowing is half the battle..."

    GO JOES!!! lol!

  • Thanks.

  • watch your back...12 is your front, 3 your side, 9 your left side.

  • watch you back

  • whatch your back lol.. like a clock 12 is in front of you 6 behind you and 3 and 9 left and right

  • watch your back. six is right behind. 12 in the front.

  • Cool vid J.T...question on the M4, does that auto L.A.W.Ks annoy you when closing the knife, can you still close it one-handed.I'm thinkin about getting one but am unsure about the whole thing. THANKS

Also what was the knife between the Tenacious and the Grip?was it the Civilian?

  • yeah I like the older CRKT knives when the L.A.W.K.S. was an option.

But, I've adapted (you have to manipulate the release with your middle finger, while operating the liner lock) and can close it with one hand. It is annoying!

    Oh yeah...Spyderco Civilian...missed that one.

  • i'm with you i prefer the manual L.A.W.K.S.

actually really dig it when doing hard cutting tasks.

  • Great find. It should work on guns too. Where's the music? Thanks for the info.

  • thanks...I switch it up sometimes and leave out any music...you're welcome...
