What I find silly about this video is the fact they are racing a 1.8 180 against a Civic 2.0 200 Type R which is stating the obvious. What I find worse is all the immature Honda fanboys below thinking its a top spec Leon. It says 'Seat Leon' not 'Seat Leon Cupra R 225'. As far as its spec gets its only the 7.5s 1.8 20VT 180 at the most. All the positive ratings are only given to the comments which are correct. Its like me racing a 1.8 with my FR, its damn obvious my FR will win.

@jamiec94 One problem mate, you really need to know your Leons and specs before you laugh at them. That particular Leon at the most is 180bhp and a 1.8 20VT, its not a Cupra R 225bhp 1.8 20VT. Its as good as me posting a race between my Seat Leon FR TDi against a Vauxhall Astra 1.6. I'm not defending Leons, you Honda lot would soon start getting mad if there was a Leon Cupra R racing a Civic Type S wouldn't you? Its damn obvious a CTR will beat a Leon 180 which isn't an LCR

@jamiec94 My Seat Leon is only the FR TDi Diesel in a Cupra R bodykit with a remap on the ECU. Its a wet lettus of a Cupra R and its no hot hatch to my standards. I've driven cars at enterprise that make mine look like a 1.2. I tend to drive it on economy most of the time but its got some blast when a perp in a 1.6 Corsa sport/Fiesta Zetec S tries it on with you. But I'm not daft enough to sit next to something faster, unlike Corsa and Fiesta drivers in poxy little 1.2's. Lol

@jamiec94 To be honest I saw mine and loved it at 1st sight. I did think about ditching it for a Cupra R 225 in Ebony black last year but due to my motorway miles with trips to Leicester, the people I constantly carry and taxi around, full loads when I help people move out. I decided in the end to stick with my remapped FR because I need the pulling torque and I need the lower fuel bills. A Cupra R is my dream but my lifestyle holds me back from a real hot hatch which is a crying shame.

It did not help the **cupra 180** had a bad start with far too much wheel spin, but i have to say i own that type of cupra (180) with a re-map thats pushing now 212bhp with 243flb of torque which would have gave you a much better race..

its a leon 180bhp version, 0-60 is something like 8 seconds, the lcr is 6.8 as standard an with £300 can take it to 260 bhp plus. if was a lcr would have been close as standard but mapped version would leave you.
