Personally, I do think that having an abortion just because the child may not be heterosexual is disgusting, but it's not my child and therefore none of my concern. @MrDecember91 First off, gay marriage is not bestiality. Second, the issue is about the legal recognition of gay marriage, nothing about forcing churches to do anything. Married spouses have legal rights unconnected with religions. It's those rights they want. Also, there is nothing in the constitution defining marriage as between a man or woman, or indeed talks about it. No amendment is necessary, the states have been deciding. How does other people's marriages affect yours?

Actually, anybody who pays attention knows that lesbian feminists have a clear track record of disdain for heterosexual marriage in general. Not all of them of course, etc... etc... but there is a clear record. Don't ask me for citations, etc.. It's very easy to look this stuff up and if you're dead set on opposing my view you won't be swayed by anything anyway.

Some of the so-called "super hardline" people you speak of who have those opinions now or have expressed them in the past are taught mainstream college courses and not labeled as "super hardline". Also, this disdain for heterosexual marriage is much more pronounced, on average, with lesbian feminists. So, the issue is homosexuals and how they feel about hetero marriage. Lesbians are homosexuals, no?

the real push against gay marriage is not the church. Its health insurers, and life insurers and state governments who refused to give equal protection to civil unions as marriages. They are doing it only to prevent people from passing on protections to they gay lovers.

Am I surprised?....no. In the year 2000, Alabama interracial marriage was still banned, 40% the Alabama electorate wanted to keep it that way. If adulterers were treated the exact same way as gays, at least half of church/mosque members and almost all of their leaders would be ostracized.

Personally, I do think that having an abortion just because the child may not be heterosexual is disgusting, but it's not my child and therefore none of my concern. The same goes with marriage, I find it hilarious that some heterosexual couples feel so threatened by the LGBT when we really don't care so long as we aren't affected
