He deals with pitbulls who were even fighting dogs(Popeye the red pit was one) and he is even able to fix Popeye so that he could live with other dogs without a fight. Basically how I see it, people go out and buy these dogs without researching the breed and looking to see if it fits their lifestyle. Then they they dont bother training and socializing their dogs when young,and when the dog gets older its a accident waiting to happen because of the owner.

@APBTisBeast Its the terminology really... Bull Terriers are a breed all they're own, the correct term is American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, its the only way to show the breed. Check out Staffordshire Bull Terriers, they're a shorter version of the americans. Also its illegal to own in the UK under the name american staffordshire. The english version however is a very popular dog.

@milktray9999 This is called and placed as a different breed the American Bully. Its a hybrid cross between the APBT and AmStaff. Although you do get backyard breeders adding other large breeds into the mix. These dogs arent bred for fighting but for show and companionship. The American Bully has no set height or weight although they almost weigh 80+, but APBT are 30-60 and are the true game bred dog that was used for fighting. They are alot smaller and lighter then the bully.

The dog has to be provoked or the owner has to command the dog to attack, but usually the few and rare cases of actual pitbulls attacking someone are poorly bred and arent socialized. Some may have even been abused or felt cornered and go into the fight or flight mode. These dogs dont kill for sport, but the media portrays them that way.

my rott has a bestfriend, its the cat next door. everytime i let him out in the backyard the nextdoor neighbor's cat will come and lay on the back steps and watch my dog play in the yard with his toy then drinks some of his water and then walks back over to its house and sits and still watches him

@APBTisBeast Its the terminology really... Bull Terriers are a breed all they're own, the correct term is American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, its the only way to show the breed. Check out Staffordshire Bull Terriers, they're a shorter version of the americans. Also its illegal to own in the UK under the name american staffordshire. The english version however is a very popular dog.

@milktray9999 This is called and placed as a different breed the American Bully. Its a hybrid cross between the APBT and AmStaff. Although you do get backyard breeders adding other large breeds into the mix. These dogs arent bred for fighting but for show and companionship. The American Bully has no set height or weight although they almost weigh 80+, but APBT are 30-60 and are the true game bred dog that was used for fighting. They are alot smaller and lighter then the bully.

AmStaff, Staffie, and American Bully. each breed has their own standards but are all grouped as pitbull even though the APBT is the only true pitbull since it is included in the breeds name. The others dont have pitbull in their name but because they look a like to the untrained eye they are seen as the same breed.

@milktray9999 LOL I accidently posted to myself(XD) but anyways pitbulls never show human aggression although they will defend their families. The dog has to be provoked or the owner has to command the dog to attack, but usually the few and rare cases of actual pitbulls attacking someone are poorly bred and arent socialized. Some may have even been abused or felt cornered and go into the fight or flight mode. These dogs dont kill for sport, but the media portrays them that way.

@chibi171..LOL!! I agree with you, when i was a little girl i owned 2 pittbulls, A black & white one, & then the ban came out in 1991 approx, the police took my dogs and killed them. Because of they way they looked.:( I was so upset, those dogs never hurt no one, and kissed everyone to death, worst scernario they ripped my jumper playing when they were pups). Now the English laws are saying we should never of banned them within the dangerous dog breed- ok now there all fazed out. :(.

@chibi171 I know a city no far frome here was considering(porbably still is) of declaring a breed ban. What makes me angry though is half the people claiming pitbulls are dangerous have never owned one, and the dogs that do attack arent always pitbulls. I have seen dogo aregentino dogs be mistaken for white pitbulls, or presa canarios and cane corso. They look nothing a like the only thing that makes them be labeled as pitbulls is because they look like dogs that would tear someone up.

I ws 100% against the Pitbulls untill I had the internety connected 3 months ago and now believe that they are no different to any other breed of dog as long as there loved, trained and well looked after. In Australia the Pitbull is banned and they only time you hear of them is when someone is bitten but how often do they report when anyother breed of dog bits, well that is unless a life is taken. I say if a dog attacks the the dog shouldbe put down and the owner jailed.

I gotta do this as well. I have an APBT and a Frenchy and they are great buddies. This pit is too big and bulky, more like AM Bullies. I don't know why you breed pits to be so big. The Frenchy looks good though.

my rott has a bestfriend, its the cat next door. everytime i let him out in the backyard the nextdoor neighbor's cat will come and lay on the back steps and watch my dog play in the yard with his toy then drinks some of his water and then walks back over to its house and sits and still watches him
