Ah yes Pamdeic, My first game from them was Army men RTS to the PC i played it for hours. Then there were Destroy all humans I never bought the game only played it at my friends but we were having a blast playing that game. And of course Battlefront 2 was a truly epic game. It is a rough industry EA also closed down West Wood the creators of the command and conquer.
My mom got me Star Wars Battlefront 2 back in 2006 for xmas and i was literally addicted to the game for a year or 2 until i moved. and got into it again i i started playing its multiplayer (ps2). on of the best games ever.
I think The Saboteur had potential to be at the same level as Assassins Creed. It had alot of the same mechanics and they launched at the same time 2009. From what i heard EA just wanted Pandemic to finish the game asap so they could shut them down..If they would have gave it more development time it would have been EA's answer to Ubisot AC series..
Battlefront 3 was easily the most wanted game from Pandemic. But hey, maybe LucasArts themselves will make it one day. It's definitely much needed in today's market for a third person, battlefield-like, star wars multiplayer game with all the modern amenities.
Well said, Craig. I loved Pandemic, especially The Saboteur. Of all the closings in the last 5 years, this is the one that really bothered me. A lot of folks complain about EA, but the only thing they have done that really upset me was closing Pandemic. If you haven't played some of these games, definitely check them out!
I got Mercenaries 2 as part of a three-pack on PS3 with Uncharted and a Tomb Raider game and I haven't even tried it yet. I guess I'll have to give it a shot!
star wars battlefront 2 and halo 2 was the first games i played on xbox live back in 2005. looking at there wika page its says they was planing on making a
vidoe game Tie-in to The Dark Knight i wonder how that would had looked
Glad to see this Craig. I loved Pandemic and I was actually sad to see them close down. Also a huge letdown that we will probably never see another Star Wars Battlefront.
Love the Battlefront games and I wasso upset when Pandemic was shut down. I also hate that it happened to Bizarre I loved the Project Gotham Racig games and I also liked 007 Blood Stone
A very nice idea for a video, Craig. I really enjoyed this one. It's definitely a shame that Pandemic is no more, because I too have enjoyed several of the games they've put out. Especially Star Wars Battlefront I and II, as well as Destroy All Humans! I remember renting Destroy All Humans! when it first came out, and running through & demolishing the 1950's or '60's era buildings and towns :)
I would also recommend checking out LotR Conquest. Definitely not great, but not bad either.
I found most of the games slightly mediocre but still fun, I enjoyed The Saboteur the most. I thought the story was pretty good and I liked the gameplay and it was super easy 700 gamerscore :D
Dude, I have Battlezone II! It was one of my first PC games (when we got my first PC, it came with a bunch of games). Never did play the campaign all the way through, but I liked going into a quick game.
I have, but still need to get around to playing, The Saboteur. I was turned off by the lack of camera control options, but I'll get over it one day and just play the hell out of that game. It looks really good.
I loved Pandemic's games especially Mercenaries. Another developer I like is Double Fine. I hope they stay. Damn you EA...and damn Activision too.
