I am really touched by your story and I am so glad that you were able to overcome that temptation, praise be to God, but it seems you always had an interest for girls throughout your life. In the end, you were trying to overcome your attraction to men and be faithful to your wife in your heart and mind. But in my case, I feel failed by God because I have not been able to overcome my attraction to men by no means (they have only been manifested) and I have not developed attraction to girls.

Having homosexual lusts doesn't mean one must follow through on them. As a straight and single male I fight lusts, but choose not to go around chasing every peace of ass I can get. We do not have to be slaves to our lusts, whether straight or gay. Homosexuality is an unhealthy lifestyle and usually leads to other immoralities. You don't have to persue that life just because some psychological or hormonal urge tells you to. I feel sorry for gays. But that rotten lifestyle is their own choice.

I will say though that there is a huge difference between being promiscuous and simply being attracted to men. Sure the majority of gay men are probably promiscuous, but I partially blame that on how society doesn't really enforce safe sex towards that particular demographic at a younger age. You can be gay, and save yourself for the right guy that you know you want to spend the rest of your life with. :)

I see alot of people bashing this dude, because he is claiming he isn't homosexual anymore. I don't believe in god, and I'm openly gay, but if he's happy having a wife and child then what is it to you? I personally don't think he was truly homosexual to begin with. He may have simply had the flexibility to be attracted to both sexes, except now he's isolated his attraction to his true love, which just so happens to be a female.

However, we base our moral system on the Word of God...which is something that you obviously dont believe in. Nevertheless, this country is founded on the freedom to live and express our religious beliefs and I am sooo sorry that it makes you feel uncomfortable about your lust towards the same sex!

@greenpointguy1: the last year has been waaaaaay better than all the previous years. Although I still think about Same-Sex Attraction I try my best to not act on my feelings & thoughts. I used to have the tendency to exaggerate my feelings so whenever I feel tempted I just try to defuse it right away. Of course I fail sometimes (like everyone else) but I'm still choosing the road less traveled. Hope I answered your questions :)

Saunei-its not that I want to be straight, all I want to do is pursue God and during the pursuit I've realized a lot of things, Things such as selfish desires, my ego, confusion and a deep yearning to be loved and accepted. All these things were preventing me from freedom. Following God has allowed me to feel free and caused me to live a great life. I struggle with lust & selfishness. Its hard sometimes but no body is perfect.

Some of these comments come from idiots. Its like if you dont except gay as a born transaction, believe that its not a sin, or accept it fully in spite of what the WOrd of God says you are teaching "Hate".
