@bmxsno What kind of diff-lock do you have. I had a Mcnamara diff lock on mine. I had to use a 5/8 spanner to engage it though, as it had a large coil spring around teh axle, and it would unwind to push the axle into the carrier. The rims I had were1 0.5 x 15 Just perfect for an old series rover. But I've got a TD5 Defender 130 now, and unfortunately I don't have the series anymore, and I do miss the fun I used to have in it.
Speedo seems a tad optimistic.

So guessing that's a 2.25 four cylinder petrol motor with a four speed maual gearbox. Do you know the gear speeds of these old Land Rovers?
