  • the instrumentation starting at 22:39 was also heard in the doctor who 1970 story "INFERNO' with jon pertwee.

  • They should colorize the remaining episodes - it's more or less justified in this case since the series was originally in color - those versions seemingly lost.

  • @thebladezmanII they should do it by using the colour recovery process and computer colourization by west wing studios with the vidFIRE process as well as using off air audio recordings to replace the optical soundtrack on the telerecordings.

  • A real blast from the past this was! I was only 11 when this aired and it was one of my favourite programmes at the time. It all looks a bit silly now but back then it was great stuff. Thanks for posting it.

  • Just amazing that this footage is STILL around all these years later, and also even MORE amazing was that I used to ENJOY it! Ha!

    It's like a cross between a cheaper version of kids Dr Who and Blake's 7. Priceless classic.

  • I remember watching this show as child. It used to terrify me. I had nightmares. lol. Funny looking back on it now.

  • I was 14 when this programme ran, and I adored and was fascinated by it. The idea of time travel was a totally new concept to me then!

  • 1971 and I think this was the first time that any British tv series used the word "clone"...
