Think that I may have commented on this video before some time ago but I feel moved to comment again. I normally don't enjoy other people's versions of any song, particularly Joni Mitchell as she so distinctive but this is something else. Your piano playing is beautiful and your voice has so much clarity, I love it. I have the song on CD and never really liked it until I heard your version so kudos indeed!

When my daughter came along, I passively made Ms. Mitchell's music available to her and her acquaintence inspired her to emulate her style masterfully...

This is the best cover of "The Last Time I Saw Richard" I've heard. Deirdre plays piano beautifully and can match Joni's crazy voice and weird tempos quite skilfully. Most people can't master her weird rhythmic riffs.

Technically strong on the piano, nice voice. Pretty tall order for someone her age to really sell this song; Joni was 27 when she recorded the song, and she'd lived pretty hard in the years before. It's a raw song that reflects that experience.. That said, this young woman does a pretty good job, all things considered.

I really do mean it, This is one of my favourite songs by Joni Mitchill and hard to sing. When I was young Blue got completely worn out. Her lyrics are amazing and she was very wise at a very young age.
