Urdu is a great language but for the national language it was unjust to adopt it, i am a punjabi and I think that bangla would have been the National language as it was the majority of the nation's language. If Awami League had formed the gov't, the nation would have been destroyed nonetheless. The strength of the Western civilization rests in the rule of people and democracy. We need to understand that our real progress will never come through military rulers , but staying on the course of a democracy. The process eventually gets rid of the corrupt. The corrupt civilians are preferable over any military intervention. The continuation of a democratic rule, however painful it may seem for the time being, will serve the country in the long run while the military always serves itself.

Bhutto harmed the country like no other. He nationalized the major industries which repelled the investors. But, no doubt he was an EXCELLENT orator. His flaw was that he tried to be a ruthless dictator which never works.

Immediately after I saw this video,I was thinking "this man should be killed by now".I find this disturbing.I don't know who this man was until now.I don't know if he was a good man or not for his people(opinions are different among his own people),but make no mistake about-it is a great leader.He loved very much his country, and when you love so much something, you are condemned to mistakes.
Also something to remember:that all great powers present there, look's like pygmies comparing to him.

Zulfiqar ali bhutto , no doubt is the greatest leader that pakistan has ever produced. Now a days no ledaer (so called) of ours has the courage to speak with such a dignity. We must appriciate him for his pleadge of fighting 1000 years with india, today we have sold out every thing but we do not have any respect in the world. I completely agree. For the sake of power, he denied Mujib his right to become PM of a unified Pakistan and preferred to lord over half the country rather than sit in opposition. He and Yahya (The Punjabi faction) are directly responsible for what happend in 1971. May he rot in Hell.

he was such a great leader but he was too oversmart, meaning he was too smart for himself. If he hadn't been so overconfident, Pakistan wouldv'e had undoubtedly the best leader in its history. He didn't bend in front of the security council, THATS what Pakistan needs.

When you are the leader of a country you have to assume some kind of responsibility and think rationally. Just because he had guts didn't automatically mean he had brains..In this sense you should see Hitler's speeches, they were full of passion and he was a gutsy individual, but did that mean he was a great leader? HELL NO. enough said.

Bhutto showed that he knew how to talk...unfortunatley he fooled us all. He may have been bold, but he was stupid at the same time. He may have been courageous, but he was also an autocrat when he ruled, he may have been anti-west, but he was a little too socialist for my taste.
