There are so much suffering because of sin, yet we keep sinning. Satan tries to enter into our lives in every possible way to destroy us,& we must close those doorways by turning away from sin and go back to God

it is impossible to argue with people who have set their hearts not to believe. i know they'd say the same thing about us. they are stubborn not to believe, i am stubborn to continue loving my God.

at the end i just turn away and focus on what really matters. people who are hurting, people who are desperate to know the truth, who ask if there is something more to existence than variability and natural selection...

God loves us. & He knows best. He is GOD, after all.

nevertheless, God gives us the freedom to choose. this leads to humans making the wrong choices, causing suffering.

& then they blame it on God.

God won't interfere. man must face the consequences of what he'd done.

'cause if God keeps on taking care of everything for us, then what value does our faith have? everyone would then definitely commit to God- why shouldn't they? commit to God and everything is fine. THAT is a worthless faith.

Actually, it is free will which makes salvation possible. If the love and respect we are supposed to show God was forced then it isn't authentic. We as humans DO have a choice and some choose to "go it alone" and trust themselves rather than God. They want answers for everything and if they can't get them they reject God. The reason you hate to see people starve? Where did that come from? Where do you think you got that value system? Not because you were a product of chance, luck and energy.

Your comment hits hard because you bring up issues that Christians and non Christians alike struggle with. All I can offer you is that it is not so much a matter of trying to understand God as much as trusting Him. He knows all those that would come to him past, present and future. Your issue will never be fully satisfied I suspect but all I can say is you should count yourself as one of the lucky one's who get a chance to openly and freely worship the Creator and that He personally chose you.

Hey Bart, I nearly forgot...I was told by one of my youth and my wife that I sound a lot like you when I sing. Maybe that's because I've been singing Mercy Me songs for years.

Thanks again for all that you guys do. You're truly a blessing. Oh and thanks for coming to the National Youth Worker's Convention in Nashville too. It was good to get a double dose of you guys.

I have been addicted to this newest album since I saw them in November-Lincoln, NE. I'm a youth pastor and I've blogged about some of their songs and even play their CD's while the announcement video plays on the big screen.

I've listened to Mercy Me since I was a youth and I love their music-it's so God filled and when I sing along, I am filled. Sometimes I even cry...I mean seriously, who are we that He would be mindful of us? Amazing job Mercy Me! Keep it up.
