@schavira Oh, I know, I play guitar, too, but the feel is reminiscent of Breathe as well. I wouldn't surprised if that's what they were going for, especially since both tunes came out around the same time.
@OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth Actually you may have something here... Down By The River and Breathe are in E Dorian which is also known as D major. F#m is also known as A major. A major is the dominant key of D major. Your comment holds weight, musically. :P
Again Radiohead has so little heart showing in their own songs it's good to know that Neil Young brings out their heart. Radiohead is normally overproduced and mediocre and should take a lesson from Neil and sound live instead of stilted.
@11xzxzxz what's the point of doin another 'nearly' identicle cover ..................an this doesn't even go near the origonal studio version in any sort of passion.....radio head stick to what you do best...ur own tunes
@DOTTYROSETORUNSKI What is your point in even responding to my blog? I have first amendment rights and I can write what I feel on Youtube. I would not expect a cover to be nearly identical and you missed my point completely.
Reread my post and see if you can be more analytical and thoughtful about what I was writing. If you can't do it then you would appear to be lacking analytical skills and so I would appreciate it if you don't bother me again.
@11xzxzxz I don't mean to sound sanctimonious, sorry. I also just viewed at your songs you have on your site and I like your taste in music more than most... good luck.
@gillnackel248 I really haven't listened to a lot of their stuff, but everything I do except "creep" doesn't get my attention, OK comrade? And I do have diverse taste in music as you can see from my thousand of videos. Going home .. wasn't that by 10 Years After? What is your favorite song or 2 and I will see if I like 'em.
whats wrong with kids now days its all about being there insted of the music now days. rember goin in ur room and just listaning to the record and nothing else.
Yep too bad it's not Radiohead making thier damn tickets so expensive. It's the demand. I would drop all I have (I've done that several times) on pit tickets. Best money I've ever spent.
@KidHum I agree they should tour more, but their ticket prices are actually amazingly reasonable for a band of their stature. They could charge double would that they do and still sell out easily.

Yeah the ticket prices are exuberant all right ! ! cost me 70 euro to see them on Dublin in 07 witch was a WAY too much concidering there was 30,000 ppl there
Too bad these ignorant people that can't stop talking don't appreciate the rare and amazing gift they are being given. Radiohead covering Neil Young? Everyone should be in complete silence just soaking it up, it's amazing.

I know I saw them at their first show in the States in '08 (I think) in West Palm and people would not shut the hell up. Then I kept falling because the lights were giving me something akin to epileptic fits because I smoked three blunts to fast and not very far apart - not by myself with only one other. It was fun though. Apart from the falling three times per song.
@alienamnesiac YES YES YES. This is like when my husband said " When I was 15 in 1974, I went and saw Led Zeppelin at The Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino" Me: "what was it like?" Dumb Husband: "I dont remember a thing. I was really high"..Idiot...
Wow. Thank you.

@NDB1790 Or Time, which has a similar sound
OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth 1 year ago
@OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth Similar sound, but that's the cohesive nature of the album's sound. Time's in F#m, if I'm not mistaken.

OK, here's the info if you'd like to add it to the video description:
It was played during the SOUNDCHECK 2003-07-07, Bergamo, ITALY (which explains the shaky quality of a recording ;-) )
