@HaloExtremeModding Well, duh. The PS2 was released in 2000, the iPad 2 was released in 2011. Graphics have improved over the course of 11 years. I must say though, it looks much better than Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2.

I think there is a lot of unused potential since most develpoers just do not have the time to programme really great looking games. Some look quite good, but it is still very supercilious and undetailed. Concerning the hardware, I suppose that iPad 2 is as good as a PS 2, nonethless there are no games who show this.

I dont think it's JUST coding in the game no offense tldtoday. if ya watch the full one hour-ish ipad2 presentation thingy. You'll notice that all of their projection screen demo's to the bigger scree are all 4:3 displayed ..although the giant screen is of course 16:9 or maybe even wider aspect ratio than that. THAT IS THE ONLY thing I WISH apple to fix/adjust. if ..*continued*

@KyleT78B the cable works on the iPad 1 but it does NOT mirror like the iPad 2. Only apps that support video out will push, i.e. the Videos App and Netflix. Unfortunately the Hulu app and the ABC channel app on the iPad 1 do not support video out at this time. One advantage if you get this for the iPad 1, you won't need to another cable for audio from the headphone port.

It's highly possible that we're looking at the future of gaming right now. Every 6 months or so the ARM chips and GPUs are getting bumps in power and clock speed. I can definitely see power like this being in a $200-$300 tablet form factor within 2 years or less.

ARM has a looooong way to go if they want to catch up with Intel and AMD. if anything, Nvidia Tegra seems like a better solution for mobile gaming, but only for...MOBILE GAMING. so basically this will remain mobile gaming while consoles and PC's will have the bigger chunk of gaming in the GAMING category.

off course that will take some time but ARM can easily make better chips than they make right now but the ARM chips are small and do a great job for smaller devices off course it isn't the same but ARM will eventually get as far as the intel chips are right now. by then intel will have better chips but still than it would be amazing in these kind of devices!
