What the heck? Now I can't trust this show (at least the German version) because this is so obviously staged. Unless someone can explain how it's possible to reach through glass, this would appear to be the standard trick which involves camera cuts and actors. If NOT, then I'd have to ask why the camera cuts every single time between demonstrating that it's solid, and putting his hand through. Every time. Lame. :(

Well yes, the cuts are unfortunate. There two possibilitys for them. 1. It's like you say and they cheat or 2. That guy doesn't want that all people know how's it done.

i used to think this was amazing but the truth how they do it is actually very simple

the whole thing is staged. you will notice he never reaches through the glass in the same camera shot that you see it solid. they have one solid piece of glass which they switch with ones with holes. so he puts the newspaper on the solid one, then they stop rolling, switch the glass then start up again with the paper over the hole
