@ZexionXII Compared To The Advance RIG, The Riot RIG Offers 5% More Protect (25%) And The Riot RIG Gives The Contact Beam A Bonus Of 10%, Awesome For Taking Out Larger Enemies (Primary Fire) And For Crowd Control (Secondary Fire).

The Advance RIG Would Give You Faster Stasis Recharge (Cuts The Time By Half) And More Item Slots. But I Feel That The Riot RIG Would Be A More, Well As The Name Claims, Able To Handle Riots.

And For That Drill Part, It's Nice To Have Some Defense And Offense.

@HFGundam17 the defense wouldn't really matter really since every suit gets the same defense after the strongest one is bought, but unless you have the elite advance rig, riot suit is pretty helpful against harder difficulties especially when it's upgrades include being able to stasis opponents
