The viper lasers take AAA batteries and normally last for around 20-30 minutes. I recommend you use rechargeable batteries. They'll give you good performance and save you a lot of money.

I just received one of these in the mail from you guys and tested it out. this laser is absolutely amazing! you would be surprised how awesome it is, especially at night! This thing goes at least 30 kms i reakon because it can reach the city from my house and i cant believe the distance on these! How far would you guys say the range on the 75 mW is?

I'd say at the very least 5 km.

finally after getting scammed way too much on ebay lasers, which in total has come around to £100 :( i have ordered a Viper Series 95mW from dragon lasers!

should of done this from the start...

btw do dragon lasers laser pop balloons more efficiently from a distance because they actually have the output of the mW they say after it goes out of an ir filter, whereas the ebay laser, which state 75mW don't have an ir filter?

because the "75mW laser" i have can only pop a balloon 5-10cm away.

5-10cm is fine for a 75mW model. You can often get lucky and have a 75mW model with an actual average power level much closer to 95 but that is not guaranteed.

You need higher power that 75mW to pop at longer distances. Also depends on battery strength and laser temperature.
