  • Neat.

  • do you have any plans for that

i would love to build a model for class for a couple extra marks

and it would be pretty cool if you got anything please let me ASAP

  • Yes, I have plans. For more info, click on the link, just like the description says.

  • I've never seen a Stephenson steam engine modeled in wood before. Clever and nicely built. I like it.

  • choo chooooo!

  • wow i am amazed!! (Thinking something else) OMFG!!! I get it >.<

  • thats pretty cool

  • Wonder if pumping that with 60psi would be enough to make it catch fire from friction.

  • great and simple

  • Trippy lol

  • Like as a train....

    whooop whooop

  • You cool

  • can it make coffee ?

  • Should have called it Compressed Air Engine instead of Air Engine. Petrol Engine gets its energy from petrol, so if called Air Engine, its energy source should be from air, but this engine energy source is from electricity.

  • True enough. Lots of YouTubers seem to think it's the solution to our energy problems! Though compressed air engines are generally called air engines. And this one runs on very low pressure - about 1 PSI - hardly something we'd call compressed air..

  • @dachee i'm pretty sure i didn't see a cord coming out of him when he blew through the hole.

remember that part or were you just tring to make yourself feel better because this guy is smarter than myself and I betting you too

  • @steelsuprise yea but unless he plans on blowing on it forever it would still be powered by something else, and even when he blows that is still compressed air.

  • @dachee its more about the storage than the energy source in itself, i mean an electric is called so even if you use a coal energy station to recharge the batteries.

  • Wood punk lol. But this would be a clever way to make a forge useing a moveing steam are a rotational source with a simple water wheel. this is some grizzly man level stuff

  • will it blend? lol joking, nicely done would be lovely to get some air input from other source but a vacuum cleaner heheh, really nice job :D i do mean it, amazing :D

  • good

  • seems like it can handle a lot of air movement before it locks from from friction

  • Why didn't I think of this? I MUST build one.

  • Wonderfull !!! Regards :)

  • 0:55 looks like a sad smiley haha

  • so.....a wooden version of the steam engine?

    still.....awesome :D

  • tell me how to do this my dad would love this

  • Fabulous - very well done.

  • now stick your finger in it

  • This thing is just awesome.

The way I see it stuff like this will create a new generation of creations!

    Vacuum-powered cars for example!

  • steampunk

  • nice! like steam engine...

  • Wow nice!

  • amazing stuff.

  • what is the use?

  • wt happened in the last time@@?

  • What about using a turbine?

  • if you add it a dildo your girlfriend would be pleased.

  • the wooden dildo..

  • wow! Esto está genial!!! Es una obra maestra!! :D

  • nice

  • if u think thats east picture if he did seal it up properly now that would b fast

  • This is SUCH an awesome demonstration. I have just recently (a week or so) begun to explore the concept of building a steam engine and this as an GREAT practical demonstration of the concepts involved. Thank you and you are ROCK!!

  • hombre usted es muy inteligente lo felicito :=)

  • It is verry cool but practically it is an electric engine. You use a vacum cleaner to power the engine , so it use electricity. Anyway , it is verry cool! If you can get a way tu add air without vacum cleaner...maybe a pump...

  • imagine if these were on cars O.o

  • @googledude23 Than they wouldn't do anything...

  • Muito Bom! This is very good.

  • Nice Engine Tho

  • do you think if you built a large enoguh version and ran it off a air tank it could power a bicycle

  • IT CAN BE A PUNCHING MACHINE JUST PUT THE BOXING GLOVE ON THE END OF THE MACHINE

  • I wonder where you will use this? What is the usefulness?

  • @rtechinfo If you don't know, this is the principle of the steam engine of the first locomotives. Ths is a good scale model.

  • M.W.: I have made the marble machine, the marble adding calculator, and the combination lock. my next project will be the air engine. hello from guatemala.

  • haha, that was pretty creative.

  • Matthias, you should look into making stirling engines.

  • Very ingenius ..congratulations

  • wooden air combusting engine

  • so remember if your lost in the woods bring one of these to get a fire going

  • lol the engine broke at the end

  • Impressive!

  • and that is how fire is made kids on a camp site

  • SWITCH TO LIGHT SPEED!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @desmondeeex Light speed too slow..Light speed too slow?..Switchtoo...loudicrous speed...Loudicrou speed?...Sir i don't know if the ship can handle this...Whats the mater Colonel Sandersss?...Chickenn?..PREPAR..Prepare the ship for loudicrous speed, close all shops, secure the animals in the zoo fasten you seatbel...Give me that you don't deserve your name..Loudicrous speed.Sir you shoud buccke you up Ah bukkle you up...LOUDICROUS SPEED GOO! ( If you which movie that script come from thumb up) XD

  • Cheers to workmanship! Oi!

  • man your channel is the most unexpectedly awesome channel ive ever come across

  • Brilliant engine and a masterpiece of work. Do you have to oil it?

  • And this is how you unintentionally start a fire.

  • now you have to make one to power your vacume then one to power that and so on

  • Just needs a wooden boiler, using fire treated timber of course!

  • that's like.... REALLY COOL

  • One of the coolest little gadgets I've seen in a while!

  • 0:39 =0

  • compressed air

  • 0:55 wooden plate is not amused

  • imagine that catching on fire lol

  • You sir, are the greatest woodworker in the last few generations, a legend of your work. You produce such intricate contraptions and marvelous, innovative solutions using only wood, and to such high quality. We could only dream of having your gift. A pleasure to watch. :)

  • im wandering how much faster it would go if you would use bearings for this engine :3

  • all u need is elictricity to power the vacuum cleaner and it will work

  • Im going to install this shit on my bicycle. Never paddle again.

  • @Eestlaneonvisa hope you have a hell of a set of lungs

  • @MoltenMozzarella You should be able to get it to work with aerodynamics amirite? First you paddle up enough speed and then it kinda makes paddling easier for u

  • @Matthiaswandel G'day. Well done. Vastly enjoyable!

To collect your reward within the Gift Economy, search 'sunfoil'. There's a nested suite of clips. The "Short-Talk" is usually the best entrypoint, but you'll especially enjoy the Wooden SunFoil clip. For a giggle, search 'solar thermal ramjet', & see NASA riding backseat to a Hillbilly. Next, is a Wood-faired SunFoil, that's enclosed & vented , so 'twill be a Wooden STR. We should race, maybe?

  • You need to be working for a car company making air-powered engines....

    I'm just sayin'...

  • I would buy that.

  • 1:20 sounds like my room when i'm getting funky.

  • @TheCostume Getting funky, alone... LOL

  • to much freetime??? AWESOME!!!

  • Genial

  • is tat a vacuum cleaner?

  • Sorry but im stealing this if i ever have to do a science project again

  • I see.the computer is computing.

  • Very nice, never seen that design in wood, class act

  • 1:21...fap haha

  • @skatergod32 LOL

  • nice carpentry

  • my god, this could solve so many problems in the world

    i want one

  • that is very cool! well done!

  • PRETENDO FAZER UM SEMELHANTE A ESTE PARA PICAR CANA , E USAR COMO POTENCIA AGUA CORRENTE AO INVES DE AR .QUE TU PENSA?

  • someone solved the global warming cyrisis

  • want yoiu to built a machine that uses that engine

  • Mathias, I liked it very well. Congratulations, I do made a Steam machine and I would like that you visited on YOUTUBE for MOTOR A VAPOR VTS 1.

    your machine is very good.

  • can it run with vapor pressure?

  • very useful. thanks for showing how it works internally

  • cool

  • hey man inboxme if i can get you to make me one that you would sell

  • what happens when u put two tubes in both holes with both of them on?

  • I don't spend my time building things like this, I spend my time watching people build things like this.

  • @Headlesslouis You don't understand. How cool it would be to have that at your home.

  • cool..............

  • When you maxed it I thought it would catch fire :O

  • Imagine turbocharging this ;)

  • Great percision wood working there. Be really cool to make a whole traction engine or locomotive from wood

  • The valve assembly isn't where the magic happens ;)

  • would be cool if it caught fire spinning so fast

  • Echt geil aber pass auf, sonst fängt dir das Teil an zu brennen:D

  • Air is really powerful if you have enough of it. Someone once invented a train thing that ran on these rails and could go really fast but it wasn't used because it would be dangerous if ice got in the track. It had a gap in the middle where the train would go but if ice got in there then that WOULD be dangerous.

  • incase you didn't know how the piston on a steam engine works....

  • Just checked out your web site: Well done guy, you are ok. And its all fine stuff, very interesting, human ingenuity never fails to both surprise & astound me, "Presently So", In this case. seriously cool stuff. I will tell my friends & there kids to check you guy's out.

    Thom in Scotland.

  • Magic stuff guy's, really neat.

    Thom in Scotland.

  • Cool

  • Cool.......

  • genius

  • Wow. I will make

  • I think you have reinvented the steam engine...

  • @koppadasao I think "reconstructed" is a better term. :/

  • That's very cool man! Will it eventually catch on fire if you leave it on long enough?

  • if i make attachment for it do you think that i can use it as a scroll saw ?

  • Now if we could open a wormhole and drop it in ancient Greece lol!

  • what is the reason of using this thing???

  • I WANT THIS SO DAMN BAD

  • instantly inspired

  • idk whats ging on here but im liking it very very much. sweet gears dude

  • many women here from Asia busizz4me.info

  • :O rofl

  • beaverscrapscustomcarving . blogspot . com

  • the cheapest fuel for engines!

  • @penteleq yes but it needs a costy way to pump air like that. electricity?

  • @penteleq With balloon fuel tanks this could be the new oil. I can see it now. "Air prices on the rise. Wars in the upper atmosphere escalate."

  • @penteleq

not really cause it takes electricity to pump the air

  • I am curious how much money did you actually get from the plans of that engine :D...(also great work with that engine)

  • the front part where the vacuum hose goes looks like the top of an open carburetor

  • great job!

  • How long does it last till it catches fire? :D

  • Amazing :D

  • take a vacuum, one of these, and a nail, and you've got a really cool hammer!

  • Sir, can you please make a V8 engine made of wood ?

  • Great creation!

  • 1:18-1:43

  • wait doesent a vaccum suck the air in

  • its the first sex bot pice!!!

  • ur gifted

  • I wonder if you had an arm with a support thingy then have a dildo, you'd have your own fucking machine >.<

  • lol things like this would work as a fcking charm in a world with no fuel

  • @XavSch an engine made of wood IS fuel.

  • @kdc43 i was talking like specifically about oil...

  • just glue on some sand and you have a grinder.

  • we need more people like you sir, possibly develop a magnetic generator like Wang Shum Ho's Generator?

  • Very Cool!

  • Need to marry you **busizz4me.info**

  • why the fuck cant cars have this?

  • @coolestgamenerd think about it

  • @CombatMedic67 ok thought about it. same question.

  • Good job! You should put a reversing gear.. perhaps stephensons valve gear?

  • But how would you lubricate it? *Googles "wood oil"*

  • Really amazing.

Are you guy's thinking what i'm thinking :P?

  • Very talented, RESPECT!!!

  • you are just amazing! a complete genius!

  • friggin engineers!

  • how many rpm can it get

  • I dont know how you find the time to do all this cool stuff. Do you make any money from doing all this? I sure hope so! Do you sell the plans for this and other machines you built?

  • EVERYBODY TYPE IN "gift" BEFORE youtube.com, like "giftyoutube"

  • put a dildo on the end and it could be a good mechanical sex machine!

  • how does it work if the vacuum SUCKS UP instead of blowing? Bec when the guy blew into it it still worked,

  • make a wooden car

  • so many uses:)

  • 0:57 smiley

  • hook it up to a air compressor, see how fast it can go, and how it blows, that would be ineresting

  • bet women will love it Nice job!

  • make a car engine.....also try graphite as a lubracant for this wooden model

  • Nice. Liked and posted on facebook. Haha.

  • This is really neat.

  • I got a boner watching this

  • @topsy420 Yeah, I got a boner too!!! Now bend over. I don't want to waste it.
