  • more smooth with the brake and better path would of helped, way too close for comfort

  • I love my x, also. After building some serious under body protection, lifting it 2:" and adding 32" off road tires, I tackled two of the difficult rated trails in Moab. Its capabilities surprised me, and this after owning and off-roading a locker equipped 2008 Jeep Wrangler. My only off-road scaries are displayed well in your video here, it's relative lack of wheel travel compared to solid axle vehicles. Still it makes up for it amazingly well with its excellent balance.

  • wuuuuuuuuuooooooooooooooooooooooo .......thank god

  • hoo man

  • Terrible choice of line there. Very lucky you didn't end up with a wreck.

  • come on guys, u gotta have cool music for the Nissan too. lol

  • fuck nor cal!

  • Sway bar disconnects, some lift, better line and you prob won't be in that situation again. A spotter can make a difficult trail a lot easier. Always good to run in groups...

  • Your video went viral on Kiribati

  • This is why I have solid axles and disconnect my sway bars

  • nice vid man.

  • ahhh hit the brakes! rookie

  • Easy on the breaks killer.......

  • guys give the dude a break. I doubt that anything short of a rockcrawler could have flipped. Kudos to the driver for saving his car

  • This vid is a favorite on Zimbabwe

  • If I were you, I'd use the 2011 Ford Explorer Limited Eco Boost with the all new Terrain Management System that can go through cement roads, mud, sand, and snow.

  • Need some serious flexibility

  • this was worth it for the story, was it not?

  • Steer left?

  • lol that is fucking crazy man

  • omfg watching this video made me want a cheeseburger so baddd.

  • Now thats the way to roll... +1

  • what kind of tires are those?? they look legit!

  • Damn sure a jeep wouldn't do that

  • Major props bro! Good lesson on how to save your ass in a situation like this..E-Brake does wonders!

  • Dont jab the brake pedal. Every rig i've ever seen flop going down something was driver error (panic, then hammer the brake pedal).

  • Sencacional o vídeo, parabéns! É de arrepiar.

  • badass, i love you, fuckin balls of steel

  • ..He must turn the steering wheel to the left at the moment of imbalance of the truck

  • @emadcom33 Wouldn't help him, steering left wouldn't get him out of that rut. You've just got to drive through it very slowly and hope the rut underneath the driver left tire is not deep enough to flop your rig over. Definitely beyond the point of backing up.

  • And that's why you never 'wheel alone.

  • um, damn!

  • lol tilted camera. look at the crooked horizon

  • So staged it was gay

  • Holy fucking christ! I literally started to panic at 00:51...

  • that was pretty f-ing cool. and remember always stay on designated trails and roads. Thank you for enjoying californias outdoors.

  • talk about taking the worst line

  • My jeep could do that

  • sick, good to see the E locker is pretty strong

  • holy crapazoid that was close, but you should know better man driver and not pump the breaks coulda save you a pair of underware lol

  • you crazy fuck

  • Amazing video! The music was too much, the action warranted something from Indiana Jones! Killer vid bro!

  • why get that roll crew cab frontier!

  • Пронесло

  • Thumbs up if your heart stopped when he about flipped!

  • Awesome you gotta watch it on the brakes though often thats what causes a rollover

  • Love it bro love it.

  • I had that happen once in my WD21 but it was a much steeper Incline. I almost Sh*t my pants. I was only like 25 at the time and Inexperienced at best with wheeling. I got my Girlfirend to get out of the car(Reluctantly..lol) and push down as best she could on my rear bumper and I got through it without pissing myself.

The only thing I like on the new Xterras and Pathfinders is the Engines.

  • It doesn't look like the 2nd gen xterra does very well with the IFS , much to stiff as was shown in this video. Any solid axle truck would've made this same spot look like no big deal.

Get the SAS swap and you'll be good to go.

  • how was that a rollover?

  • @crazydevil360 Title says NEAR rollover.

  • @mushaddiv lol missed that part. sorry

  • Luck, skill would have lifted and set not hung in the air.

  • I don't know if that was luck or the driver just has skills. Holy shit.

  • SicK

  • That was SOOOOOO close. just steering left would be enough.

  • Sick

  • turn left and throttle out. *facepalm* the worst thing you can do is apply brakes.

  • @josht64 YUP

  • LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT!

  • just earned a thumbs up and a fav. nice rig man

  • This Xterra is in serious need of a lift kit!!!

  • @foxmxchick721 3" PRG suspension kit sitting on my floor cant wait to get some time to install it!!!

  • @4x4NorCal good thing the lift wasn't on it here, or you'd have probably ended up on your side

  • @4x4NorCal Dont forget the lockers!

  • oh and this is a sick video by the way haha

  • this might sound like a dumb question but does anyone know if its alright to take an xterra s off road even though it's not the 'off road' model? I have a 2010 and I've actually never taken it off road before (pretty bad, I know)

  • @cgatti18 hey bro thanks for the complement but as far as your ? goes I may have to confiscate your man card or at least put you on probation. Yes you can take it offroad the one in the video is an S. The difference is the offroad has a lockable rear end for added traction, the other models have limited slip rear ends. So if you have one of your rear wheels slipping taking power away from the other 1 u can lock them together with a locker you lock the rears, LS slips but will catch at some point

  • @4x4NorCal Alright thanks for the help man..I'll work on getting mine off the streets and onto where it really belongs haha

  • the weight of the tire on the back is what kept him good

  • That doesn't seem very healthy for the xterra x D

  • @ttimothyp16 oh no no driving on the highway is not healthy for them, its like a tiger in captivity sure they have a good life but they need to run wild.

  • @4x4NorCal Yeah my mom has one its the x package and we bought it it came with a supercharger and 300 modified horse power its a beast

  • @4x4NorCal have you seen people with Hummer in the city?? I've seen people even with Xterra or 4x4 (including tires for off-rad) in the city! it fu** the knee!

I agree with You. (I have a nissan Tiida xP )

  • @ttimothyp16 xterras are NOT MADE for the weak :P mines pretty beast adding videos here soon :D

  • What band/song is the soundtrack? Sounds pretty badass.

  • @Wodenhelm the song title is at the end of the video. I use a lot of music on a open share license (creative commons or CC) from a site called newgrounds, its a place people can post there music and and get peoples opinions. Usually you can use someones music for non $ purpose.

  • never step on ur breaks when u feel ur rig like that let it roll, but nice recovery

  • sick as hell

  • That had to be scary glad U made it man!

  • pucker! pucker! pucker! pucker!!.... phew...

  • Good recovery man, awesome job!

  • due just got my first xterra. shes an 02 se 4x4 140k on her. love it to death. great condition. just wondering if slight vibrations are normal in idle or in ark runs with a beautiful roar otherwise. just when make sure shes ok you know. thanks.

  • @deltaalphacharlie I have an '05, '05 and up are different machines. The first gen are great too, lots of mods available just jump on the first .thexterra. org for any questions.

  • @4x4NorCal thanks bud.

  • @4x4NorCal yeah man i have a '05 super black one. The chasis is raised 4 inches so it can do some gnarly 4x4 but im not that best at that kind of stuff haha. Ill check out that website to see if they have some things i can add to it.

  • Ahhh

  • nice vid and music

  • I was wondering when u were going to turn the front wheels the right way

  • @chrospoke hahaha, i was screaming at my pc like a retard telling him to turn the fucking wheel

  • Nice man...good video

  • dude u gotta put proper suspension on that thing before doing stupid crap like that, ur rear barely flexed!

  • Bad fuckin' ass dude, I wish I had one of these....

  • i have one for sale...its your dream to own this one...08' offroad 6 speed night armor....make me an offer

  • @strikemoutjeff I wish

  • So what rear does it have and what model is the truck?

  • @Sofar24 2005 Xterra S Limited slip nissan c200, all schrockwork skids and diff cover front and rear bumpers. It works for its purpose in NorCal there is not alot of 4x4 parks, it gets me around the National Park dirt roads and trails

  • @4x4NorCal Nice! You lift it? No right? Just put bigger tires?

  • @Sofar24 Just tires been debating what kind of lift or Titan front end swap

  • So what rear does it have?

  • holy SHIT that thing should have flipped

  • Holy Geebus...easy on the brakes. ;)

  • sick video. gotta go change my shorts now haha

  • nice

  • HELL YEA bud, thats what its about!

  • nice Xterra

  • @Ba9oo9 Thanks. No locker, I wish but I could not find an Offroad in my price range at the time.
