and besides those tips i have a question :D are you running your hot tubes through a Marshall stack? because Brian's goes into twin reverbs, which aren't half as hot as marshall. so you may think about that too. :P
oh and yet another tip - your jaguar's pickups are way hotter than the ones on vintage jaguars (or the ones on AVRI's and Japanese), so you'd have to compensate it with your pedal settings - don't go too hot. ;)
and btw, should you want to make your jaguar even closer to brian's, get a second string tree to the headstock and round knobs, instead of the standards.
@m3dicated hi, ja I know what you mean! Actually I´ve got the same pedal and even the same settings Brian used on this gig, and I like the fat, creamy distortion, but I think my mic doesn´t reproduce the full sound...but thanks for constructive criticism. And I´m always looking out for a Jag from the 60´s, and then I will do some changes like the Schaller bridge and so on...but thanks a lot! Btw, it´s time for a new cover of yours! Would love to see a new one!
oh and don't get the Schaller bridge, i have one and it sucks out all the sustain and the action with it is WAY too high, it's not normal and you can't lower it. i'd advise Mastery Bridge (google it) but i think you can't install it on the Classic Player. and also, your jaguar's radius is 9 sth, mine is 7.25, so maybe you won't have the high action problem. the Schaller bridges radius is almost flat - it isn't designed for Fenders. Anyway, let me know, when you try it.
awesome and then some brill

you could maybe make your sound more transparent, lay off the drive a bit or sth. but then again, it's the matter of taste and i respect yours. (:
