  • I'll hazard to say that the REC films are remakes of the Demons films without the whimsy and surreal atmosphere.

Have to come back to this review and give my thoughts, pressed for time right now, glad you took on this film though, it's an enduring classic

  • I remember arguing with a friend who worked at a theatre showing Demons because the theatre banned anyone under 18 from seeing it, and my argument was, "Who was the theatre make that decision if a parent wanted to take his kid to see it." Also, I think read somewhere that part of the problem with Demons is that Bava, Argento, and a third "big name" collaborator (Michelle Soavi?) weren't on the same page with what they wanted the movie to be.

  • @VonWenk I think I've read that as well. Probably was Soavi, as I believe he was an assistant director or something like that.

  • whats weird is i have both of these movies

  • Rick James looking bitch lol

  • movie looks fricking awesome dude all these movies rock nice music too

  • Mike Patton FUCKIN ROCKS!

  • @wolfengheist I agree.

  • First saw this movie at my girlfriends house. late 86 or early 87. I was 16 loved it ever since. awesome shit!!

  • Classic movie from childhood

  • The music is Fantomas ight? Whats the song?

  • @billyjoelsux - Cape Fear.

  • Great Review..Rev. I saw it when I was 14 and back then theatres were very creepy.. BTW , i still have no clue why the helicopter came crashing down from the ceiling towards the end of the movie.

  • @fabulousflame - Thanx! Well here's my theory for the helicopter--an albeit flimsy one, but a theory nonetheless. We know from the ending *spoiler alert* that the demon outbreak has spread past just inside the theater--possibly all over the world. I just figure the helicopter pilot or the passenger turned demon causing the helicopter to crash. Just a sign to people trapped in the theater that outside wasn't any more safe. That's just my take on it.

  • Another killer video brother. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanx--will do.

  • Ridiculous and creepy sums it up very well.

  • i love demons. so ridiculous and yet it's pretty creepy. the first twenty minutes i remember particularly cool.
