Excellent cover of this classic, Ed. And the video is very well done. I remember Gene Pitney talking about the night he recorded this track. He said he had done dozens of takes, none of which sounded they way they wanted. Finally, at 4AM when everyone's tired and ready to call it a night, they decide to do one more take. Gene's voice is almost gone, and the result is the perfect hoarseness the producers have been looking for.
