It's hard for you to comprehend God without Him being "the Earth, people or some sort of company" because you focus on images and traditions instead of God's word.
Most people who claim to believe in God unknowingly call God a liar because they do not believe God is/was Almighty enough to provide His people with a correct translation of His word- which translates into man being stronger than God.

@gregrutz As for the slaves and the statements, you take some things out of context and forget that the time and place and the setting of the laws on slavery was there to protect the slaves first and to keep the unruly israelites in check because they took slaves even when God told them not to do so. I recently heard Mayans laughing about the 'end of the world in 2012' based upon the Mayan calender. the reason it is round is because as one age ends another begins and so on, round and round. it is round because it doesn't end "one starts a circle beginning anywhere" or in this case 'ends anywhere.

@gregrutz As for the slaves and the statements, you take some things out of context and forget that the time and place and the setting of the laws on slavery was there to protect the slaves first and to keep the unruly israelites in check because they took slaves even when God told them not to do so. So the Laws were put in place to make sure that no slave was slave forever or was treated unfairly.

Science does not comment on god. You can't prove god exists, I don't have to disprove something not proven.

It is evident that you ask questions only to mock me and I do not have time for that, if you truly wanted to know then you would listen to the answers that are given. We do not argue now what God made things but that there exist things that must be designed and made because evolution and natural selection or abiogenesis cannot answer the question.

Our obedience fulfills the God void in our hearts and brings us to the supernatural understanding of His mercy and love for us. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned, that is our opening our hearts and experimenting with this God business and letting Him show us his side of the story.

If you need to see if God is real, you need to get on your knees & to sincerely ask God to reveal himself to you if he is real. Believe me, he has "no problem" doing this. I challenge you to do this this week. Have you ever actually tried this? Have you ever really read the Bible w/out being prejudiced? Just sit down & read it - cover to cover as you ask God to reveal himself to you. Try it :-)

The phrase "End of the world" does NOT appear in the Bible, it is the end of the AGE. Man has tried to rule without God for 6000 years of recorded history and what a mess we have made of it. Read Matthew chapter 24 in the New Testament for the answer to your questions about the return of Jesus of Nazareth and the End of The Age. Jesus never turns anyone away. Yeah lets base all our beliefs on a book which has never been verified and was recorded by humans who knew nothing of the world then. People wake up. See the world for the way it is. We are starting to experience more extreme natural conditions but 'the end of the world'. God wont save you.

@christiannandres Not at all. Scientist's have not proved enough and even they say much of science is based on educated guessing. Personally there is nothing strong enough out there to hold my belief yet. I am open to any mysteries but until proven otherwise i have no strong beliefs. Many people choose religion not because they believe it to be true, but because they need the comfort of knowing they are being protected and to life a life without fear. Is there another world after this? maybe..

However there is none evident enough to me at the moment..im not afraid of what happens next. I just make the most of my life by enjoying myself and being kind to others. If not reading the bible and not believing in god makes me a sinner then religion needs to revaluate their moral code.

I recently heard Mayans laughing about the 'end of the world in 2012' based upon the Mayan calender. the reason it is round is because as one age ends another begins and so on, round and round. it is round because it doesn't end "one starts a circle beginning anywhere" or in this case 'ends anywhere.
