The word prodigal means recklessly extravagant, but by extension from the parable it has come also to mean a person who returns home after a period of rebellion. I loved it & he really ministered to my soul. I don't care who we are that is how some of us Christian folks look at people. And we need to understand that just like Jesus ministered to all types of people, no matter how they looked, no matter how they smelled, no matter what religion. We need to do the same thing. We have people who come into our churches dressed like that & who spell bad & the first thing we do is get up and move away from them. Where is the Christ in us?

i appreciated the illustration, sometimes we as preachers (i have to keep myself in check w/ this), we focus too much on the harmoneutics, and not the message. You see a couple people on the platform standing around just looking, arms folded, just kinda looking and waiting for him to finish. Not knocking the message, i'm sure it was effective, we just gotta be careful how much of our gift we exercise to assist in God's anointing.... keep preaching Bishop Bonds, be blessed!

I usually don't respond to videos, but for everybody thats criticizing and talking about the illustration that is potrayed here, get a life and do something with it... Who are you to determine what the holy spirit leads someone to do. How can you judge someone. God doesn't work like that? God uses whom he pleases the way he pleases. No one can say what God wouldn't lead another Minister to do. Was it a blessing...yes, to people who saw this... yes, were souls touched... if they say they were. Who's to judge? He didn't just take off his shirt...he planned to make a point. We had seminary students go to 10 churches dressed tattered, smelling like alcohol... only 2 let them in, offered them help on the spot.

I was here this day! This was on New Years Day 2003 at Christian Bible Church in Houston, TX!!! He preached his butt off that day! And to @darsal123 Pastor Bond has lost ALOT of weight since then! I saw him in November of 2009 and he was so thin!
