thanks. Question. When you created the VHD, where was the image pulled from? And, to where did the image store itself for later use (if different than original location)? Also, what is the purpose of creating the D: drive for access to the VHD? For making changes for later use, or?
@softwareScout There's no "image" being used here really, the VHD was created before installation and the OS was installed directly onto it. Also, there's a C: and D: drive because the OS sees two partitions, the physical partition, D: in this case, and the mounted VHD which is the C: drive.
