could you ballerinas get outta here with your high and mighty "we're better than you" attitudes. Rhythmic gymnasts do not study classical ballet. Ballerinas would also find it impossible to handle apparatuses and simultaneously keep perfect classical ballet form. Gymnastics has adapted ballet to suite its needs. They haven't tried to replace you all.

push urself thats what i did and i pushed myself in oversplit before i could even do the splits so yeh got in full split in about 2 weeks and now i am almost in a right angel split but then again i am an 11 year old boy and so mah muscles are softer

i am wondering what is the tendu for? they do not graze the floor.

Then, they turn out when they stand, but when they start to do tendu, the working leg turns in. So what is the point on doing tendu?

@LifeResort it still builds inner thigh muscle, even if its not technically correct by ballet's standards.

I think it's HYSTERICAL to watch Rhythmic Gymnasts do ballet. Granted, they are absolute geniuses at what they do, and stunning and I love them, but just LOOK at how much their hips are moving... pretty awesome lol
