This one "My friend Jack" selled in 67 in the first three weeks more records in Germany as each Beatles record. This were most successfully. For myself the best Beatmusic ever. May be this great song is a little inspiration for Steppenwolf and Purple.

So this is just playback, huh? It looks lame how the guitarist is just miming a simple slide for that awesome explosive intro. If I was the guitarist, for the intro I woulda just struck the first chord once (maybe by doing the Windmill just once) and then, without touching the strings anymore at all, I'd mime how the guitar starts violently shaking between hip and chest height in time to the vibrato just from the resonance of that single chord, up until the other instruments come in at 0:07.

This was banned here in the uk by the BBC back in 1967 but of course the offshore stations paid no attention & played this gem, The band came from York, thanks to the uploader Great!
