One clanger in this episode...fleas connot live on humans. They can't swim and would drown as soon as Tom and Barbara had taken the bath.

@dharmaseed well, fleas can get on humans & hop around a bit, roam through the clothes etc. yes, they can float around & will jump out. They secrete a greasy shield that allows them to survive underwater. Years ago I had a cat with fleas, & the only way to keep them in the water whilst picking them off cat was to stick them in water with detergent; then they would sink until such time I could dump the solution with fleas down the toilet. Thankfully, twas my only run in with the little beggars.
