Husky, you abuse the term all the time, but I don't think you've overused it with such an intensity before.

"To be decimated" means to be reduced to a number that can be expressed in "tens". So unless one player is going 200+ zerglings - being decimated in SC would most of the time require actually building MORE units.

A battalion being shelled and reduced from 1200 to 180 soldiers - OK to say they were decimated.

9 mutas or 14 roaches being destroyed - NOT OK to say they were decimated.

That is incorrect.

The original meaning of "decimation" was removal of one tenth.

If you have 20 things, and you remove 2, leaving 18, that is called decimation.

The term is now commonly used to express drastic reduction of numbers (more than 1/10)
