Do you notice one special thing about the traffic, that is there is no lane, and all the vehicles still can commute perfectly safe, no problem accidents ! I remember this, but i am not sure i come back Saigon i do not dare to ride my own small motorbike. My mom said she still keeps it for me to ride if i come back SaiGon ! but i don't dare, no lane at all ! it is called "chaotic order" traffic!
@wk3000 i disagree. I think the skills and cultural customs that allow something like this to exist is amazing. Rules of the road are an expression of mutual understanding about right of way and property rights.
@TheKenmoron mutual understanding? i disagree, for mutual understanding exists in driving in general. As in saigon, there is non, more correctly would be to say every-man-for-himself mythology exists in saigon because people don't stop or slow down for you to pass, turn if they know they can pass you. You must be proactive driving in saigon or else you won't move an inch so mutuality doesn't really exists in saigon, which i believe to be a much more efficient way of moving vehicle.

there's nothing amazing about this, it's all about paying attention to what's in front of you
