  • Laura these were my first cupcakes ever, it took me 2 tries (I had them in the oven for longer than 20 minutes), but on the 3rd one I got it and they are good! I can't thank you enough, I never thought I'd enjoy baking but now I love it, thank you thank you thank you! PS I made the chocolate ones and used your raspberry frosting and it is deeelish! • this icing looks delicious. My aunt is going to be making my wedding cake. She uses a receipe that has crisco and powdered sugar as well as other things. I dont really care for it. Can this kind of icing be used on a wedding cake or is it to soft? Do you have any icing receipes that can be used to decorate wedding cakes that tastes good?

  • tried this recipe... really good!! but the frosting was really sweet too sweet... next time im putting more raspberry preserves and less powdered sugar.

  • @LauraVitalesKitchen Can you offer some alternative ingredients to make the frosting? I tried making these last night and my frosting tasted very weird.. I don't know if it's from the unsalted butter or from the sugar, but I didn't like it much. Help me please, these look yummy, but it didn't turn right :(

  • can you make these into a cake???

  • You eat like a pig ... a cute pig <3 ^^

  • I made these tonight and they are the BOMB! Though the frosting was kind of too sweet for my taste and sticky, I added a little whipping cream to make it fluffy and just right for moi (i used strawberry instead of rasp.yum!). The cupcake itself was so good, I could just eat it without frosting:D Thanks for sharing a delicious recipe!

  • @RougeOwlMi06 I tried these too last nigh, and my frosting had a weird taste.. I don't know if it's from the butter (it was unsalted) or the frosting sugar... Did you have that problem and do you think adding whipping cream would help?

  • @MissEmoSceneBabiee no, it's just another flavor. Yu could even make a plain butter cream w/o n e jam.
