  • on se serait passé de l'épisode avec le verre de Bordeaux, mais l'interprétation des Barricades est vraiment très bien.

  • Bravo Michael! All the Capdelaine of Québec are proud of you.

  • Like you, Michael, I have loved this piece for many years. You really do it justice.... your playing is beautiful and your hands so graceful. Thanks for posting this very beautiful rendition.

  • Entrainment , Karma, a great piece of music, sensitively played on a great guitar; I'll drink a fine red to that...

  • @encopio yes! the way he muted the bass strings was incredible but this is close.

  • It must be an incredible experience to grow up loving and revering a piece of music and then reaching a point in your career when you dare to tackle it and then succeed so well. Bravo. And that guitar is to die for.

  • Extra credit for the beautiful quality of the audio recording and the guitar itself. The Couperin of course is performed with conviction and musical intelligence, but for me this is one of those rare occasions when I almost forgot performer and composer.

Essence of the guitar, like I almost never heard it anywhere!

  • awesomeness of total awesomenicity

  • Wonderful playing!

  • MC is as good as that wine if not better.

  • Love it. That's how guitar should be played , and harpsichord for that matter! ;-)

  • @kbkesq

yes, this is finally a good tempo for this piece - most people play it with haste and perverting its suggestive character (as an ostinato piece).

  • really beautiful interpreatation Mr Chaodelaine
