3 yrs ago I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid.There was a point where I gave up on myself & stopped taking my meds.My mom didnt know what I was doing to myself.She brought me to Cheo,and I saw the poster of Nick.At the same time thats when I decided to take care of myself.Now Im off my meds and I dont have to go to cheo!Nick saved my life by inspiring me.You dont know unless your in that persons shoes.I felt alone.Thats why I love this song,makes me feel better about myself.I embrace it

I love this song :) this touches my heart because I have Diabetes since May 21st 2004 it was the first time I had ever seen snow and I was in hospital I remember this song played when I got my Insulin Pump last month I was diagnosed when I was four and a half.This helps me get through it because I know someone else with a different story is out there too and it helps me from getting angry at my Diabetes because people know about the different types but still act as if it was because I was fat :)
