Have you been misting your T tank a lot? B.smithi generally do climb up tanks if theyre substrate is far too wet. Like Rose hair, red knees do NOT tolerate wet conditions. It could be in premolt if hadn't eaten in the past 3-4 weeks

why didnt you just buy old cheap monitor for 40-60 bucks? Fix the screen when you can, in the meantime use a crt or old flat screen monitor.
