  • You always seem to do it. You serve a beautiful song and make people feel good. A subscriber from way back, I remain a fan. Thankyou for sharing this with us.

  • @amazmace It's always my goal to make the songs the star of the show rather than myself. Thanks for sticking with me!

  • Hi Les, This is one of my very favorite Beatles song, love your version of it. I would not have thought of doing it finger pick style but it works very well that way. Great. -Ron

  • @RHopenOtherSides And this from the guy who finger picks 4-string banjo! Glad you liked it.

  • awesome cover.

  • @MikeyTSH Thanks, old friend, your opinion means something to me.

  • Very nice Les. Thanks for posting this. Ed

  • @edgrosso Thanks for listening!

  • A good cover of a good song. Hm, I haven't done my obligatory Beatles cover yet. (*Makes mental note to rectify that.*)

    Cheers,

    Bruce

  • @bdouvill Thank you.

  • Excellent job Les! Love this song!

  • @otusqueeky1 Thanks, buddy. I wouldn't have guessed this song would be your type.

  • very nice cover and the guitar playing sounds great

  • lol i never heard it either, great job though!!

  • I'm not familiar with the song either, but that was pretty cool. :-)

  • @donovandustin It's nice to get a compliment from a professional! ;^)

  • @GibsonAndVega ROTFLOLing!

    AND, you're a comedian too, huh?? :-)

  • @donovandustin People often tell me I'm funny; others just call me a smartass. I think it's the people who take themselves too seriously who don't appreciate my sense of humor. It appears you don't have that problem.

  • @GibsonAndVega OMG!! How funny! We have something else in common! :-)

  • You have a very unique vocal phrasing style. At first it was a little distracting, but I came to enjoy it, impossible to imagine it otherwise.

  • @Oswlek Thanks for being an active listener!

  • I'm not familiar with this song (I know, shame on me) but it sounded great!

  • @dannyzerozerozero The Beatles' best work, in my opinion, was on the albums they recorded from autumn of '65 until summer of '66: Rubber Soul and Revolver (and Yesterday...and Today in the US versions). Unfortunately, it seems that this period of their work is the least well known, especially to younger people who weren't around then. Everyone is familiar with their early hits from '63 to '65, and with their last couple of years (Sgt. Pepper to Let It Be), but their best work IMO is less famous.

  • @GibsonAndVega I will definitely check it out. The more I know, the better. Thanks for sharing, you're too awesome.

  • Very good cover! I feel like I should post a cover sometime soon ... I've got a bunch that I want to do ... and I could probably do 'Blackbird'. 's been a little while since I've played it, though.

    - Jason

  • @crimsong19 Thanks! Blackbird is one of the good songs on what I think was their worst album. Most of side 3 on the White Album rocks, though.
