I could sit here all day and talk about civil liberties that your previous government abused in the name of anti terrorism but then we would be both veering away from the originial point. Like I said I'm not familiar with this guys case and if he is found guilty by his peers then I hope he gets the punishment he deserves. However the medias influence on high profile cases is of great concern in criminal law circles (on both sides of the Atlantic).

The world should be glad this possible serial killer was caught early, although he may have just been a guy that was robbing money from supposed easy targets. He prob was a compulsive gambler, not a compulsive killer, and that's why he got caught. A true serial killer would prob have gone longer undetected.
