I am not a fan and I don't follow American Idol, but I often wonder what they judges on Idol would have to say about Elvis had he made a debut or tried out for the show. Today he is known worldwide, but imagine unheard of Elvis before judges that may not be taken with him or his charm. Hard to imagine, but with the judges on Idol, its a real possibility.

It's not beyond me that this is comedy and I had a laugh! I have to point out though, that Elvis had a full out voice of a god and personality on stage that has seldom ever been matched. His bands from the late 60s to he early 70s kicked more ass than any a that time. Elvis had more talent in one hip than these three have combined. Funny shit though! Please dig Elvis - Aloha From Hawaii. He and his band, of 30 some musicians are rockin it heavy!!

@99697395 Actually this is really Elvis in 1956 when he went to Hollywood to make a screen test for producer, Hal Wallis. The producer asked EP to do whatever it was that he did on stage so they could get a feel for his ability and if he could come across on screen. Needless to say, they were completely taken with what you see in the video.

@lindalovesmusic1 Actually, if truth be told Elvis auditioned for "Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scout Show" back in 1955 which was like "American Idol" at the time and they told him because of his hair and hips to go back to being a truck driver. So this isn't too far off from what really happened. Also Elvis then later appeared on Stage Show, Milton Berle, Steve Allen, and Ed Sullivan where 54 million people watched the show the highest for any TV audience until the Beatles. Just goes to show u!!!
