Dr. Surjt Singh's page- search in google- has digitalised a vast number of songs dating to the earliest times of indian music from 78 rpms, originating from some very extensive private collections.
Only thing, they are grouped according to the original collector, so finding something specific can be very time-consuming. There are about 60 songs by Kamla Jharia in 4 albums.
The site also has a large collection of old photos and posters.

so competition between mirza saheb and dr maina on kamla jharia is going on let us see who wins the race. but both are having equal marks. grateful for presenting beautiful ghazals of Kamla Jharia. i know many people would have not heard name of her who was counted one of the top most ghazal singers of her era. am also grateful and thanking you for giving nice information about her.
mirza saheb i think you have posted picture of Juthika roy instead of Kamla jharia.
Thanks for this upload. I enjoyed Kamla's voice after a long time. She used to be my favourite alongwith Shanti Hiranand. I don't know whether you have Shanti Hiranand's Gazals as well.
Uncanny in its similarity to Begum Akhtar's rendition of the same beautiful ghazal. If you hadn't told us, I would have thought it was BA's voice, Mirzaji. I'll have to re-listen to BA to feel the difference. Thank you for another great gift.

I have a 78rpm of Kamala Jharia as well. Side one has Na tum mere na dilm era and side two has Maston ke jo usool hain unko nibha ke pee.

Kamla Jharia belonged to Gramophone era while Shanti Hira Nand was an artist of All India Radio.
