  • GO VEGAN

  • you ppl disgust me is all i can say

  • Take this little statistic and run with it, there is 1/3 of the dairy cows in the U.S.A today than in the 1940's, we produce 3 times the amount of milk on 2/3 less cows. do you ever hear about that for being green in the news? how many cars use 1/3 the amount of gas today than in the 40's? take a new diesel pickup, whats it get about 7 or 8? my old truck just being in the 90's got about 18? green huh? at least emissions is down but we will use more fossil fuels. sounds like a great plan

  • this is the problem with america ppl who know little but think they know alot spread rumors and stuff about things they really have no clue about im ashamed honestly one or two ppl but a bad face on thousands of good faces like myself who actually produce good healthy food. ppl need to stand up to these ppl that have no idea and explain to them As far as cows producing more carbon than transportation what an idiot so its humane to just kill all the cows because they are somehow ruing our planet

  • Go Vegan, problem solved.

  • The only food they guaranteed that was much safer than this chemical filled veggies and meat was the fish on my coast, at least fish doesn't have any of those problems. Now you see that it's not surprising people having much more cancer than years ago, all those venoms in our daily food drains our health at a dramatic rate. I'm so freaking unsettled about this!

  • @fyal69 Fish? LOL? Farmed fish live in water so dirty you would NEVER eat them if you saw it, and ocean fish/lake fish so polluted and with Mercury, same 'bad' fat for you - check the research! These products are so tainted it is ridiculous.

  • this is so terrible, it is important to stay aware of the truth behind our food

  • i just went vegan, easy enough, i eat veggies, i drink an organic whole food shake in case i miss something in my diet, and best part is, i dont cause pain to other living beings, and i don't eat shit!

plus im an athiest, so much for "no morals"

  • This makes me soo fucking sick dont you know these animals are sacres to alot of people! FUCK THESE MOTHERFUCKERS WHO PROFIT FROM THIS INDUSTRY

  • Grow your Own

  • Shut up and eat your din din.

  • buy local or buy organic

  • I love meat, and I will always love it and eat it. BUT, it is complete bullshit to have the cows and chickens, walking around in their own shit and piss, let alone being injected with hormones, steroids, antibiotics, and GMO fed. Seriously, this is fuking stupid, if they were not couped up, they wouldnt be gettting sick as much,* lessen antibiotics*, they would be actually moving around getting exercise *lessen steriods and hormones now that they can build muscle naturally".

  • SO glad I'm vegan.

  • @shiz1246 Dont be so glad of being vegan, just watched a TV interview which in they detected chemicals in the vegetables with the help of trusted laboratories. There were so many that I lost all my appetite forever. A bunch of DDT, DDE, Heavy Metals (Chemicals that once their in your body they dont come out anymore), benzen and much much more, enough to replace every word in this comment by one of those chemicals. They greatly increase cancer chance and development of parkinson like diseases.

  • @fyal69 So, your plan is not to eat fruits and vegetables? That's a poorly thought out plan. Eat organic instead, or grow your own. Chemicals that are found in plants are only concentrated by the time they get to animal tissue.

  • @fyal69 The problem still lies with animals agriculture and chemical production. Look up GMOs that you eat every day - virus and bacteria in their DNA! People must begin to get informed before it is all poison. Organic plant-based food is the best you can do right now, at leatstthey are not allowed to use as many pesticides, nor can they use 'sewage sludge' for fertilizer, but we MUST start to demand safe food before it is too late!

  • @741Dave Alright, your right, we must demand safe food I agree. But the fish I was talking about was my fish, in my country, were the toxicity levels were the lowest between all the products we have. But yeah, its still poluted. But if isn't you making the food for yourself, it will never be safe. They just care about profit, with those fucking chemicals they can get almost 100% of their production to be sold, if not, only a very small amount would be edible and not putrid.

  • @fyal69 Already only a small amount edible... many tests have shown bacteria and viral counts off the charts. Thousands of recalls in all countries, all the time. Vegetables contaminated from animal farm run-off, waterways polluted. People eat food before known to be contaminated, if ever known to be contaminated. Thousands of deaths. Loss of rainforest for animal agriculture. Cruelty. All about profit. Lack of feeling of personal responsibility. We vote every day, many times, with our forks.

  • hm those cows look like theyre having a sit in...

  • Don't they scan meat under UV rays to kill bacteria before they package it?

  • Sometimes, sometimes not, they also sometimes the chemical treatment cleans the meat, but that often leaves the manure on your food and just treats it - so you eat "safe" POOP! Not-so-yummy for me personally!

  • @741Dave That's only shows how ignorant you are.

You know how lots of farmers fertilize the vegetables you eat? You know what's in the soil those vegetables grow in? Manure!

And all the water in this world has been at some point drunk and urinated by some other animal. It's the way the cycle works.

  • The meat is treated with ammonia.

At one time, ammoniated beef was only suitable for dog food. Not anymore...

  • @BrawlStreetExecutive Yes, and they also use chemicals such as ammonia. The bright red fresh-looking meat in supermarkets can be 6 months old or more and still look like it was cut yesterday.

  • @741Dave disgusting!!!

  • I certainly have compassion for humans, again, we are talking about INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE HERE - such as YOU or I - and I certainly have compassion for humans - the food issues are IMPORTANT TO HUMANS, ANIMALS, AND THE PLANET. These issues affect all of us!!!

  • Not about global warming, either. Just a part of the HUGE issue. Lies about your food - how it is made, what is "good" and safe, what is causing disease and destruction of resources. I love this planet and want to treat it nicely, global warming or not. Not about PeTA, not about global warming, not even about YOU. About caring about Earth and loving animals/think they should be treated with compassion, even if killed for food.

  • No, I said GROWING. Didn't dispute the #

  • I am on my own channel, BTW.

  • Not true - the lies we were told our whole lives are finally coming clear - they simply could not hide the facts anymore. The numbers of people going veg is growing by the day. The knowledge of people about what is really in their food and what their food really COSTS has really JUST BEGUN!!! You are seeing a change because of people like vegans fighting for YOU to have SAFE CLEAN FOOD, meat or not.

  • That is silly, there are many NON-PeTA members, too - just silly. SILLY. I can't have a discussion with you if you simply refuse the obvious. You are "spinning" the obvious facts.

  • LOL! Vegans are violent! No seriously? Whatever, man, you are a product of the lies you listen to. (Vegans are violent - lol!!!!). And you are the only one saying "fuck you" and talking about hating people. (Vegans are violent - lol!!!) No seriously.....too funny......

  • Again - deluded - no one has insulted you. I don't really get what is the matter with you, but for sure you are very convinced that people are out to get you - weird that you can't have a discussion without feeling someone is attacking you or brainwashing you. Really, Dustin, conversation with you is difficult, you are so angry all the time.

  • Many vegans would LIKE people to be vegans because that means we would not be hurting animals at all, but most of my friends are NOT vegans or even vegetarians. I doesn't mean I don't like them, and we don't talk about meat all the time, either! Most vegans would be happy if people just didn't buy TORTURED ANIMALS, such as those from CAFO.

  • Not one of the clips is from PeTA, nor from anyone who has anything to do with them. Anthony Bourdain & Glen Beck likely can't stand vegans, and many other people on these videos are NOT vegans, but they are clipped in here telling the TRUTH - animal products are destructive to the Earth, to humans, and often are CRUEL and ABUSIVE to animals. NOTHING TO DO WITH PETA OR FORCING YOU TO BE A VEGAN!!! You just don't listen nor learn.

  • There is a Chinese proverb that says a man who is full has many problems, a man who is hungry has only one problem. People are saying, "Oh, genetically modified foods, you can't eat those. Those are terrible. They're not safe." But if you're hungry, like approx. 1 billion people worldwide, people who can't sustain their own food, you won't care if it's genetically modified or not. They're just going to eat it. That's what their main concern is, eating. You don't understand how good you got it!

  • Do not equate truth to being ungrateful for my comfy existence - you are the one focused on your comfort - I make choices that aren't always easy for me for the greater good. Again, you haven't explained the FOUR THOUSAND other issues that are the result of the animal industry, so your argument is very narrow-minded. I wish you peace and enlightenment.

  • Broaden my narrow-minded view. What are some issues you'd like me to look into? What do you do for the greater good that's so hard? How do you sustain and nourish your body after all the cut&pasting, i mean research. Enlighten me, I'm not naive, just clear minded enough to know that if some methods of food production are unappealing, that doesn't make it unsafe. And yes I'm at peace and comfortable, and very grateful for the people that make that possible. The truth is all I post, no opinions

  • Current issues with the animal industry: Land, air, and water pollution; disease (such as Swine Flu); chemical use (higher in animal industry than in vegetable industry); the rise of diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes (all have been directly linked with meat consumption); antibiotics, growth hormones, and other chemicals that WE EAT when we consume animals; deforestation (largely due to increased cattle grazing in the rainforest); (continued)

  • loss of biodiversity, famine (it takes more grain to make meat than if you just fed people the grain directly); cruelty (take one look at a CAFO AWFUL!); general global destruction (per the United Nations and other credible scientists - animal agriculture is the number one cause of global warming); (continued)

  • increased incidents of food poisoning and meat recalls that have been tainted with E.Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, etc (these organisms come from animals farming specifically!); and the fact that the run-off from CAFOs has gotten into our food supply and caused the Spinach Outbreak and other food contamination. For anyone who believes it was spinach that was dirty DO THE RESEARCH! SPINACH DOESNT POOP!

  • Yeah, and you have a clue - keep bringing it back to ONLY a food safety issue - that is all you know to argue. Would love to see your "truth" - lol! I have quoted ALL my sources - where are yours?

  • again, narrow-minded.

  • LEARN - E. Coli o157h7 - YUMMY!!!! Yeah, they care a lot about what they feed us, eh? ("Round-up Ready Soybeans"). How about Pfisteria? Or how about some of the LARGEST fisk kills on record - LARGER than the spill of the EXXON Valdez??? BTW, I don't want your opinion, that means crap - I give you science, and science only, as I'm sure you don't really care what I THINK, just like I don't give a crap what you think.

  • And if that isn't enough I've got more for ya.

  • Boy Davie,'em I gettin to ya? The lack of protien in your diet has made you an angry, confused, radical nut job. And your right, I don't care what you have to say, I'm concerned about the innocent people that might stumble upon this crazy scare video, and take extreme wackos like yourself seriously. You can bring it all day and I will keep going back to food safety, because thats the title of this ridiculas scare video, not narrow minded, just sticking to the topic, your topic. (continued)

  • Scary. That is the only word that comes to mind.

  • If I want to comment on an oil spill or how swine flu(H1N1 for the people who aren't crazy) has nothing to do with swine. I'll find a video related to said topic as misleading and poorly cut&pasted as this one and try to help the impressionable avoid becoming as angry and confused as you. So, by now you have realized that I'm not narrow minded, just staying on topic. I'm sure a guy who is as scared as you of this big bad world cannot be helped, but the others need to know their food is safe.

  • I am simply dumbfounded. So you didn't actually watch the video series, which goes into ALL of those subjects that I mention, and FOR SURE "safety" to humans IS RELATED TO DISEASE and "safety" for humans IS RELATED TO POLLUTION - do I need to explain how EVERY ONE of those issues is a threat to human "safety"????? you don't get that? Man, seriously? I've no idea what to say....wow...seriously...wow.....blew my mind....maybe narrow wasn't the word.

  • Hi sdj350. Dave is actually a friend, and he asked me to place a post here in case you wanted more info or more videos on the multitude of issues caused by the animal industry. I couldn't agree with Dave more, as you'd see if you checked my channel, but you are welcome if you'd like to "stop by" (Watch Ocean Life/Death if you don't know what pfisteria is, btw). I also have a website that gives you plenty of sources and links to the articles the info came from. Thanks!

  • If you research food safety, using unbiased data and methods you'll find that America sets the standards for the world on food safety. As I stated before, some methods and practices need to be improved but we are light years ahead of China, Australia, Japan, etc too name a few. And no I'm not in the food business, just a concerned citizen that had the same concerns as you. I just researched other sources than PETAs web site. You "smart" people don't understand how good you got it!

  • If you watch the videos and did the research, you'd see other countries have BANNED our food it is so dirty and poorly regulated. Why don't YOU do the research? Plus, your numbers on food deaths/poisoning is inaccurate. Millions of food-borne illness occurs every year and is not realized it is the food. How many people get sick and NEVER associate it with a meal? MILLIONS.

  • My numbers are confirmed cases in the US per year. Taken from unbiased sources. Most food-borne illnesses are caused by improper preparation, just like not washing after using bathroom or not covering your face when you sneeze or going out in public when you know your sick. All of these could simply be prevented with a little common sense. Millions sick is a gross attempt to fabricate numbers that can't be confirmed or denied. Stick to the facts and you'll find your food is very safe.

  • Yeah, you never had a stomache you couldn't really explain. Man, you are not very bright!!! You have no idea of the truth, and you have been effectively "dumbed down" to repeat such misstatements! Scary, it is, but you are a lost cause!!! SCIENCE and FACTS - Learn 'em!!! It's a losing battle with me - I know better - go talk to someone far more stupid!!!

  • This is the single biggest issue facing us today - so much wrong from the animal indutry, on so many levels. Excellent video.

  • dave, unfortunately 3000 people die in the US per year from all food borne illnesses combined. Maybe you should focus your passion on some of these issues and help more people: Annual deaths in the US-40,000 from flu, 3,500 underage binge drinking, 20,000 from all illegal drugs, 6,000 from falling off ladders to name a few. I have looked at your "stuff", and your logic is clouded by emotion. Your food is safer than your ladder, take a deep breath, relax, and sleep well tonight. Its gonna be OK

  • Oh, and it is at least 5,000 (probably a lot more). And MILLIONS get sick.

  • Cut and pasting 10 years of isolated incidences from unrelated news clips and putting them in a ten minute video is hardly "research". I could do the same thing about all the positive things that have made your families food the safest in the world. Granted, some aspects of production agriculture could, and should be improved. But that doesnt change the fact the food in your local market is safe! You should focus your clip cutting skills on Mexico's food production. That'll keep you busy!

  • Apparently you haven't looked at my channel or my website. YEARS OF LOOKING AT THIS STUFF.

  • or "Round Up Ready" soybeans. YUMMY!!!

  • You should not take this "scare" video too seriously. The U.S. sets the standard for the world as far as food safety, this is proven by the recalls. You don't hear about other countries "outbrakes" because there required level of testing is so minimal and the standards so low that most of the time problems slip by undetected. Don't lose sleep over food safety in the U.S., your eating the best in the world. Most of the claims in this video are opinions, and cannot be backed up by sound science

  • I am years of research into this, and will all due repect, our food is a mess! We should be very very very very very very concerned about feeding some of today's products to our families.

  • Watch some of my other videos if you get the chance, such as Video News. Thanks for your comments, though I completely disagree, and Happy New Year!
