  • Wow, sweet key "skillz". I'm going to have to do some serious practice to get to that point, when I get either the moog or the R3...

  • @aw5omeFRAZA Both The R3 and Moog are great! Thanks for watching my video and good luck with your future Synth purchase

  • I'm always amazed by this kind of performances on a two-octave MicroX. If it had 3-4 octaves then I would have bought it.

This demo proves that a digital synth like the MicroX doesn't have to compete with a Moog. It can perfectly stand next to it.

  • @Keybern I agree. I personally would have liked to see more octaves on the Korg. But then again. I figured out the Moog is a nice compliment to the Korg. Might be adding more video of just the Korg itself in the future. Thanks for taking the time to add a comment.

  • @acaruso36 I have both these boards, and as you say, they are ideally suited together. To get over the lack of keys on the Korg, I use an M-Audio Oxygen 49 midi controller. Keep up the good work!

  • @ardubbleyu Thanks much. Great Pair of Synths indeed! I'll have to try a midi controler soon.

  • love the MOOG little phatty but the micro X is really thin sounding

  • @doom705 Agreed, but it's great for a digital synth don't ya think?

  • Cool song, love the video!

  • Perfect for Porn..

  • GREAT !

  • does anyone know which is better the moog little phatty or the oberheim ob 1

  • class!

  • If i had the choice i would have these two also niiiice choice man! I love the sounds the little phatty makes! its suck a powerful synth and you can tell in this video with the XL.

  • Thanks. The moog patch was Great. I Could have had a better Improvised Song. Maybe I'll do another demo with this keyboard set-up. Thanks for your comment!

  • what did you just say? -.-'

  • what's the patch you used on your lp.

  • Can't be sure. I know its a patch from the Lp stage editon when i purchased in back in 2007. I'll have to get back with ya once i do a search of this patch. Thanks

  • Whats better out of the two!?

Or would you say buy an MG-1 instead?

  • you mean between a little phatty and a micro x? you cant compare the two, ones a polyphonic digital synth, and the others a monophonic analog synth, not to mention the $800 price difference...

and as for the mg-1, the little phatty blows it out of the water.

  • at least in terms of what its capable of.

  • You rock. THIS is what I call synth music. Great unusual timbres but so so musical.... You rock!!!! Technology and music in perfect harmony. This is special. And difficult to achieve.. Great work.

  • Thanks for the kind words. Its great when two types of synths(digital & analog) go hand in hand to make some fun sounding music.

  • nice stuff! where are the drums coming from?

  • Drums Coming From the Top keyboard called the Korg MicroX. Thanks

  • Hey. How would i choose between Korg Micro X OR Microkorg? Cheers!

  • Microkorg.

  • depends if you want ROmpler or a VA

  • Yes, The Korg Micro X is being used with base and other fun sounding patches. Its a Synth packed well with sounds for the Home Studio musician.

  • ALL THOSE SOUNDS COME WITH IT?????

  • NICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • man this is quite funky 3rd time listening to it XD

  • Yes, Its a Funny Funk sound isn't it?. I plan on adding more videos of this set-up soon. any suggestions of music type I should demo?

    Thanks again for watching!

  • here's an idea, get a bass guitar player in, maybe run it through a moogerfooger low pass filter or some other cool effect, and then do a slow blues jam, about 90 bpm, see how that sounds. for the synths you could do a really smooth lead on the LP and pads on the micro X.

at my school during lunch break we do a lot of jams like that, with lead on a synth and a bass player

  • I'd like to see you do some sudo gothic metal on those synths!

  • microx is actually a pretty decent synth isnt it

  • yes, a Killer synth.

  • i got two questions for anyone who will answer.

    1. how does this thing handle automations from a sequencer?

    2. the stage II has an arpeggiator i was gonna get that. i was wondering if the midi clock needed to be present for the arp to work or can i set a real time tempo?

  • you can set real time tempo with a tap tempo switch. I don't own one so I don't know about automations from a sequencer

  • wonderful - i keep seeing these MicroXs alongside high-end synths like the Moog LF and Access TI etc, worthy indeed. Tell me, do you know what the differences are if any, between the MicroX and the X50, apart from the number of keys?

  • your microkorg is pretty grooving and I like how the moog patch decays, this looks pretty good

  • not a microkorg, Korg Micro X.

  • DAMN I WANT THAT MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG!...yea its that serious

  • the moog sound is way too juicy...almost criminal

  • BRAVO! sometime little things make big thing

  • so how is the korg chanaging sounds but using the same keys with out you changing anything?

    that make much sense?

  • My guess is... since a only had the Korg for about a month or so... the korg MicroX uses a complex arpeggio arrangement in a preset that I used. Lifting my hands off and on the keys can activate these complex arpeggios.

  • Also, some sounds use velocity switching, making two different sounds on a key react to how hard You play.

  • Very nice.

    Thanks...
