You can't say it was a victory for Palin from a National perspective. She surpassed expectations by not being an utter disaster. So it would be apt to say that it was a personal victory for her over her previous performances.
Leave aside what we all know about palin and think about the debate in a nutshell. I was laughing my gut out when she replied as it made no sense. The moderator would ask a question and she would reply something else.
