dc direct figures are taller. arround 13" tall. the hot toya are 12" tall.

but the hot toys figures are so much more accurate that tne dc direct.

if you want to buy a dark knight figure, buy a hot toys version.

but there is still one thing that bothers me about this figure.

the price! on eBay, right now, this is really expensive. they are MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE pre-order DX02 batman!!!!

i think i'll buy the normal Joker and the Harvey Dent but for the Batman, i'll wait for the DX02...

Ok, so I finally got the chance to see this figure out of the box by myself and I've got to say that I'm not impressed, the body proportions are bad, specially on the torso. Sure the head and armour look super accurate but the fact that he looks like a wrestler really put me off. Now I'm %100 sure that I want the DX version.

maybe you should do your homework and not rely on wikipedia... the screw on plates are ceramic not rubber idiot lol ... there is even a documentary about it as a part of the extra features on the dvd and blue ray. so you might want to check that out. the plates screw into a bioweave fibreglass mesh. i hope you dont always rely on wikipedia, because thats for people that think they know there shit! which clearly you dont.

Lol the suit in the film was not made of latex. The main body of the armour was made using ceramic tiles. They researched and actually managed to develop a ceramic tile much like that of a bullet proof vest that could withstand a tonne weight without cracking. The major acheivment with this suit though was how light they had managed to make the ceramic tiles so the weight of the suit was minimal... :D im a costume designer incase your wondering how i know this lol :D
