Incredible restoration. The bike looks perfect. But I gotta tell ya, my jaw dropped when I saw little man's leg come that close to that pipe! My girlfriend would've freaked if she saw that!
I had the exact same year and size bike as you have there. I assume you restored it. It's looks awesome! When you started it, it brought me back to the old days. It's sounds exactly the same.
@linx2256 well, my friend mused to have a 93 rm 125. one day it ran great, the other it did not want to start, we kept working on it all the time but it never ran great longer than a ride. He also blew his engine while trying to escape from cops on quad.
that must have been a fucked up rm :/, apart from the clutch (which is common in all old RM's) my 1993 RM 125 runs great, but it does get boring so im gonna get a 250
Why don't people like left-side kick? It's so much easier than having to kick over a hard-starting bike with... well... a bike in the way. There's no problems with balancing or leaning it over for a foot-hold or any of that nonsense. Just stand next to it and kick. My Husky has left-side kick and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I got a 78 and a 79 model of these.. Need to restore both of them. I got the 79 running after sitting for 10 years, got out riding for about 15 minutes and the tranny broke..... They have amazing power and are great bikes.
well,Honda copied the Husky frame of that time because it had the strongest frame but unfortunately they also copied the LH side Kick start.60's and 70's Euro bikes had the LH kickstart on them, this includes Huskies,KTM's Bultaco's Ossa's and some others.i don't like that setup either but that is the way it is.
