This is very true. I want to say, though, that there is a difference between sinning, and willfull sin. Chrsitians can still fall into the trap of sin, without even trying to or meaning to. By this, we can repeant and are forgiven. Willfull sin will separate us from God. It is our duty as Christians to stop willfull sin the moment we feel it . Keeping our thoughts captive.
@finalcall07 Im curious what your answer is to these questions - I signed up to ask you them. If I am led by the Holy Spirit of God as his presence is unmistakable! His love permeats everything I do! Where does the purpose to stop sinning come into my life? Do I now being Justified by God, and walking by his spirit in love need to look at the ten commandments to make sure im not sinning? if the bible says his laws are written in my heart then what is the purpose of this video? for pharisees?
@finalcall07 Obviously your intentions are to make one look to the Ten commandments and weigh themselves by them by this statement (Are you OBEYING those laws that were written in your heart?) Rom 8:16, 1 John 4:16! am I correct? I did state that I was being led by the Spirit of God ( his Love is evident) so why would you ask such a question?
@Jesuslovesrussell You don't look at the ten commandents to find out if you are in sin. You look at Jesus and listen to him. Faith is hearing, believing, and obeying the voice of God. Rom. 14:23 "For whatsoever is not of faith is sin." If you need to look at the Ten Commandments that is look with your eyes and understand with your mind you are already in sin. You are either walking in Spirit [faith] or walking in flesh [sin].
Amen. The truth set us free, not what we want to believe,be ye holy as he is holy for without holiness no man shall see God,Lord help us to walk is submission to your holy spirit each day so we continue to walk in the foot step of the Messiah Jesus Christ, The first born of Creation.Love and blessings brother Justice
Justice, when it comes to answering people's questions, should I submit all of them to Jesus? Like if I'm in a converstion with someone and it goes into a subject that is sinful, how am I supposed to react, will the holy spirit speak for me?
If we are to stop sinning, then we are to also stop wilfully transgressing the torah(instructions) of YHWH. Because sin IS transgression of the torah 1 John 3:4. People just don't want to. My Father's word has no place in them.
@JESUSisKING34 Fast is your own decision - you decide to stay away from eating food and doing certain normal activities to dedicate yourself to seeking Jesus in prayer, time to reflect and draw closer to Jesus. If you don't eat and don't watch TV and a few other things (for a few days) you will be amazed how much time you have to pray. (You must drink water) How long you fast and pray is your decision. Fasting without seeking Jesus in prayer is a waste of time.
