SimFinger - Add stock apps to iPhone Simulator + More

I have downloaded simfinger but can't find Simfinger itself within the folders contained in the package, how can I launch it?

hey gumballtech, can u help me with this one thing? can u tell me why the simulator doesn't come into the simfinger. i cant work it as on. the background of the simfinger show the background of whatever i have up on the desktop or if i have the internet up, i have a small pic of the internet in the simfinger picture. can u pls help with tht. and yes i did follow the steps to dowload. and went into the system preferences to allow the assistant devices cuz it told me to it. pls help! thx

So what is the point of this simulator if it doesn't actually run apps? I was hoping I could download apps from the market (pay for them obviously) and play them on this.

@bradye21 The point of the simulator is for developers to test their apps on their computer before submitting them to the app store.

@wwcomputerrepair This doesn't work on iPhone SDK 3.2.2/3.2.3. SimFinger has to be installed with the iPhone SDK 3.1.4, and then you install 3.2.2/3.2.3.

@SUPERFORMIAN You can't jailbreak the simulator, since it's technically already open. Anybody can have "Cydia" show up in their simulator (or any other app, for that matter), but they won't open.

I Can't get Fake Apps. I Restart It After CLicking Install Fake APps. But When I Quit And Open It Again Its The Same

Hmm... Same thing for me. I guess SimFinger was never updated for Snow Leopard or something like that.

I believe SimFInger is supposed to remove the black cursor and replace it with the white dot. If that's not the case, then I'm not sure.

i can't change the carrier text - can't install fake apps and so on.

the only thing that work's is that white border.

Oh... You can install the 3.1 SDK first, use SimFinger, and then install the latest 3.2 beta.
