Not... A boomerang that doesnt come back can be a Kyllie (killie, kaylee... who cares...), its a kind of bumerang used to hunt, and it has a different shape, and must be throwed horizontally - doesnt come back... while a returning boomerang must be throwed vertically and with a correct angle according b the wind....

this thing is not made to com back, as for what it looks it's only a souvenir, it just don't have the necessary profile!

as you said this is a souvenir... so it wont fly very good but you can easily make one out of ply wood and just taper the edges down a bit so it cuts through the wind

Try throwing it into the wind just to the right and hold it upright it should do a full u turn and come back

Be careful when you catch it as they move with some speed :)

Throw it more vertical and try to get it to spin as fast as you can. You could also have a badly produced boomerang. Most Australian boomerangs now a days are sold just for decoration.

Keep practicing. It's at least trying to turn toward the thrower. You'll eventually get it to come back!
