Yeah I absolutely loved this bike,I had 2,a 1994 and a 1995.loads of power, loads of grip and very nimble I loved it,and you're right, very forgiving.haven't had a bike for a couple of years now I sold the both of them to a german as I couldn't transport them over for a decent enough price at the time it gutted me.I envy you,an rsv is definitely on
The cards for me next, hopefully in time for the summer, never had a v twin but can't wait, mille's are mans bikes
i had one of these for a couple of years, raced it for the first year then used it for going to work on for the next couple of years, superb handling, very forgiving and u can really ride it hard too. bought an 07 gixer 750 after that and couldnt really get on with the gearbox so went back to a v twin and got myself an aprilia 1000 factory r. ahhh bliss so much more fun
How do you like the bike? I just bought one and I cant ride it until it gets nice out? :( My first bike BTW, but im 6ft 240lbs and have been riding dirtbikes my whole life.
Yes it is the top speed,I'm dat half upright remember.you can hear the engine doesn't have any more.I have 2 of these bikes, this one does 155 and the other does 165 ish.when the camera stopped on this vid it had hit 150,wasn't gonna go any more with the wind resistance of the way I was sat,you gotta remember I had the camera in mh left hand and was sat up filming
why don't you put it on the tank? it's really not a good idea to drive that fast with just one hand at the handle bars.
last year in summer my father and i we were on the autobahn to bochum (my father is drivin a TRX 850) . we had 225 km/h (dont have an idea how many miles this is equal to..) and there was an old VW pulling out .. he drove 90 km/h max. i can tell you it wasnt that nice ..
think about a situation like this with one hand ..
why not put it on the tank?because i dont have a mount i thought that would be obvious, the camera was on my wrist attached to a lanyard attaching it to my wrists, last time i checked the clutch was on the left, meaning if something pulled out i could have braked just as quick and grabbed the left bar in the process.I
dont know how you think you have the moral highground as you are talking about doing the same speed, only you were on a trx 850 which, excuse me for saying,is a bag of spanners, plus you are german, and everyone knows germans cant ride..............
I have one and i love how it sounds..
