And while they knew about the Germans slaughtering the Jews they did nothing ohhh wait they did do something ! They once again proclaimed themselves the saviours and went on their merry way with their war bonds and promotions and all that . Now this isn't aimed at the American soldiers who liberated these camps . They understood and bore the full burden of trying to realize what they were seeing, leaving many of them scarred for a long time after . Im talking about the ignorant idiots at home .

And while America was saying it wasnt their problem, 6 million Jews all men, women and children were being slaughtered like animals by the Germans in Nazi concentration camps . So before you start falling for this and American's propaganda bs look at what really was . And that's one of the sickening things about Americans then and how they treated the war . They did the same when they were fighting the Japanese . "Buy war bonds for freedom ! Grow a Victory Garden and beat the Japs and Krauts!"

While America was isolating itself thinking that if they stayed out of the War it would all go away and that it was "Europe's problem or Europe's War not ours" as they said, places like Poland and even Russia were facing onslaughts . And for those of you who say "who cares" you then know nothing about what your saying because that was the War . While America was treating it like a garage sale or like a big promotion ppl were fighting and dying in every way imaginable .

How do you include a children's movie or a movie for young teenagers with a story about World War Two and at the same time remain distant to what was really going on ? That would be like Sesame Street explaining the Holocaust to a 5 year old . Also making a movie on the Homefront, to a society like the United States who was basically safe from the dangers in Europe and the Pacific, guts the movie's intentions. Because nothing took place in the US except by a few submarine attacks here and there.

Look at least it's a quality doll you're getting okay if something happens to the doll it's almost always the owners fault, if people want to spend that amount I money on a doll that's their business, my parents like the fact that the dolls at least make us happy, and that they last a longtime instead of the usual months you get with barbies and bratz. And at least they've it a good moral story to tell Barbie sets an unrealistic goal for girls and brats dolls can be... Well lets not go there

@InsaneStingFan thanks, well i mean a doll should be a good role model, not something that has unreachable standards, and dresses like pardon my choice of words but a hoe, at 16 now i don't know why i played with bratz when i was 9 and 10, and american girl dolls have important lessons like stick up for yourself, and that there are other people worse off, and the dolls last a long time and the only reason why my sister's dolls are a mess is cause she did it, they're going to the hospital soon

I love this movie I don't care if I am 17 the American Girl series are awesome. They show reality without actually PULLING you into all of the reasons of difficult people. It's a series I've loved since 7 years old and still love.
