@theripp93 You can say that about any Touhou character in general but opinions are opinions. Personally, I wish the characters were shown as the darker "monsters" that they were intended to be--a good number of them, at least.

@eaeal See, the thing is that Satori doesn't really deserve it the way that some other characters do. The music is positively sinister, even though all she's done is BEEN A SATORI. Of course she's not a people person, people shun and/or attack her. Compare that to, say, "Murderer of Sailors" Murasa's theme...

I read somewhere that satori are one of the most feared monsters of Japanese folklore. (After all, having your innermost thoughts and desires displayed out loud would be very frightening.) If that is true, then this arrangement nails down that feeling of fear extremely well.

world renowned orchestra directors? don't make me laugh. the doujin artists behind this are talented individuals no doubt, but they are nowhere NEAR the level of geniuses like Carl Orff.

@lordofpwnage Well lol, lets not go overboard man, I never mentioned Carl Orff, and I would never compare them to him or any other legend like him (Dvorak, Mussorgsky just to name a few), after all, in the end these are arranges, composing an actual song and arranging a song are two totally different concepts.

What I meant is more on the line if touhou arrangers could actually direct orchestras, which takes us back to the question if they all use synth or not.

Oh, never understood the lyrics, did you? Yeah, he must've been a genius to convince the likes of you that medieval poems about unrequited love, how lame the church is, the government, and drinking are totally dramatic.
