The presence of australian medical students & a Samoan medical studen from the University of Auckland, NZ ensured the police didn't go far, as they normally do under the circumstances if the cameras were not there!!

There is a new law in the making which will take your samoan customary lands & lease them to overseas investors when your matai signs them away for a few dollars. Good on the Sapolu women to protect their land from government intrustion. The Sapolu's have not been compensated as per the law yet, bulldozers arrived to force the Sapolus out. We the women in the pics will not let thieves and burglars take our Sapolu land, unlike other Samoans who just roll over & submit to unfair take overs!!

I dont know the story but from what I saw.... it seems like a distraught samoan female is being forced to take a picture of herself for her relatives visiting from the states. The family then got the police involved to hold her down while they still try'n get a good head shot for the christmas card this year. It seems to be working but I don't think it'll make a warm christmas card. lol. stewpid.

The fraudulent pulenuu of Vaiala ( village mayor ) & his group of 20 men, arrived with the police to forcefully removed the women from the women's own land! Aussie medical students arrived & observed the brutality...Samoan women are some of the most violated in the world!!
